god he's so cute, mignon thinks to himself. so cute, so pretty, so smart, and yet equally so silly sometimes. though, perhaps, mignon only has himself to blame for not being clearer sooner. he was so scared of rejection that he didn't think how those worries as well may have been reciprocal. which is then to say that he needed to compensate for his communication, or lack thereof.
what's not to want? someone beautiful, kind, a little bit mean sometimes but makes up for it with an adorable smile. someone who gets their pulse racing just from walking into the room. someone genuine who has shown them what it means to feel warmth, as if returning home after a long journey away. yes, it wouldn't make ANY sense at ALL for me to be in love with you.
he jokes sarcastically, attempting to make a point though getting tripped up in his own words and not realizing the damage until it's too late. he pulls his head back, heat rushing to his face as he pulls his lips in between his teeth, biting them. oh .

nods up at mignon and nibbles into his smile, face flushing a teeny tiny bit at the little reminder of their conversation from yesterday creeping up. still, he emphasizes with a kiss to mignon's chest.

just saying that makes him want to kick his feet a little bit, but he tries to remain composed for now. not allow the other man to know he most definitely has heizou in the palm of his hand as much as he does right now.
preferably, i'd have you as my lover, but i will admit.
leans up to whisper for his ears only.

satisfaction wells up in his chest, knowing that heizou can absolutely feel his heart race which only doubles in palpitations when a kiss is laid not too far from it. he thinks to himself that a horrible fate must await him if he has lucked out this early in life. or perhaps it's reparations for the past that have led him to finally find happiness in the present. regardless of the cause or effect, he could not imagine himself any happier than he is now. and that is more than enough for him.
as lips ghost over his ear breathing a confession that sends a shiver up his spine, a smirk teases the corners of his lips. he turns his head to meet heizou's gaze.

opens his mouth to speak but suddenly recalls something he once said and the circumstances in which he said it, cheeks turning pink as he closes his mouth and faces away from mignon to clear his throat and mumble:
i'm all yours.
the tips of mignon's ears color pink as a beaming grin stretches up his cheeks to reach the equal shine in his eyes, his arms pull heizou in closer as he leans down to press a kiss to his temple and whisper back:
and i'm yours.
you mean it?
he questions rhetorically, being playful more so and bringing a hand up to cup the side of the taller's face, then bumping back into him and placing his other hand on one of mignon's arms.
lucky me.
when the puppy got too honest:

[h] he catches his petite lover in his arms with ease, spinning him around once before setting him back on his feet, his embrace still wound tightly around his smaller build. for a moment he scrunches up his face, really considering divulging all his inner thoughts that he tried to keep hidden. but as he feels a buzz under his skin, he thinks, perhaps there's a greater benefit to laying it all out, even without the promise of kisses. although he would never turn down the offer.

he confesses, starting tame before taking a breath and continuing.
