Welcome all to our Dark Hunter rp!

We would like to thank you all for joining and hope that you have a fun and amusing experience. We'd like to remind all of you to get your profiles up and running with pictures and descriptions of your characters so that we all know who you are. If for some reason you can not edit your profile let an admin know and we will do it for you. If you have any questions regarding your character, how to approach the background of your character, pictures or anything else about their profile please feel free to ask your admins. We understand that not all of you know the universe but we are here to help in any way that we can. Remember there is no such thing as a stupid question. 

We will posting a FAQ. We encourage you to ask anything you are uncertain about. If you are uncomfortable posting a comment feel free to pm an admin. If you know the universe and have the answer to someone else's question feel free to answer but please remeber to be respectful of the other person.

We encourage you to rp with everyone. We DO NOT encourage face chasing. If we hear that you are outright ignoring or being rude to another member you will get a warning. Three strikes and you're out. We do understand, however, that conflicting time schedules and hectic lives tend to get in the way some times. Messages get buried and miscommunications happen. We also realize that in this world there can only be minimal comminucation between the dark hunters. That's why we encourage role players to have more then one character.

As the rp progresses we will be holding events and doing group rp. The events will be limited time plots that everyone is more then welcome to participate in. We would like to hear your thoughts. If there is an event you'd like to see happen, for instance a bolt hole where it's a daimon free for all, please contact an admin with your ideas. We could also do something as random as a national holiday of some kind taking place where characters that don't normally rp because of certain circumstances get to meet and interact with one another. We appreciate your feedback.

We would also like to open a lottery room and allow you to have your own homes/rooms. The lottery room would allow you to roll dice and award you a small amount of points each day which will be put towards buying your rooms and other such things. Whether that work be daimon hunting, hitting on women or driving your underlings crazy, it's always nice to have a place to crash after a hard days work. A home opens up more and different rp possibilities. If you have any other ideas on what points can be spent on such as weaponry or pets please let us know.

We are hard at work trying to make the universe in which we play easy to understand for those who have never read the books. If something confuses you please pm an admin and we will set to work on clarifying it for you.

We are also working on a list of gods and the powers they can bestow on their demigod children. As stated the admins must agree on your powers and are willing to work with you.

Squires have not been implimented yet. A squire is, essentially, a gopher of the dark hunter. They are human with no powers to speak of but they are the dark hunters link to their humanity. They also are the eyes and ears of their hunter during the daylight hours. A good squire will watch over and protect their hunter while they are in a weakened state. Under special request, we will allow people to play squires but they must stick to the guidlines of the admins if unfamiliar with the universe. Dark hunters are also given permission to create NPC squires to do things for them. You are also allowed to ask someone to be your squire if the other player agrees.

Charonte demons are also going to become available to those familiar with the universe. For those not familiar with the universe that are wishing to play a charonte demon or just want more information on them in general, please see your admins. Just PM an admin for an application form. We want you to play what you feel you would have fun playing and we are here to help you succeed!

We are also going to be opening up several admin positions. We aren't always on and would like to have some others who are reliable to keep order in the natural chaos that is our lives. We would prefer to have someone on the opposite schedule as us to try and keep an admin on at all times. Admins also must be on regularly. If you would be interested in an admin position please contact one of the existing admins. If chosen you will be a trial admin for two weeks.
