First of all I would like to officially welcome everyone to the DWMA and thank you all for coming. We are glad to see the halls of the school slowly filling with faces that will fight the forces of evil and then devour their souls! For those who are not quite accustomed to what is going on please feel free to ask and we will help you out in whatever way we can.
Secondly, the pairings.
For clarification I will go over how they work again before announcing the batch.
The pairings are for compatibility of the souls in order to make you each a powerful fighting force in order to irradicate evil. That does not always mean that personalities mesh but sometimes that you each fill in to your partner's weaknesses. Things are not always harmonious in pairings but if you work at it you can become quite a team. That being said, not all pairings work out and that is okay.
The pairings are always between a meister and a weapon and they will last for two weeks. Any time during the two week trial period both partners may make a post in the matching room to become permanent. If that is not the case then after the two weeks are up your application will be shuffled back into the mix to be paired again.
Due to the current lack of people there aren't that many options for pairing so please bear with us, we are doing the best we can. If you would like to help us get more people by keeping this roleplay active (posting in rooms) or advertising it also helps you. There are also not enough men or meisters to make all of the pairings so if you are not paired this week, your name is at the top of the list for the pairings next week. That is provided someone comes along that meets your criteria.
It should also be known that not all pairings need to be romantic, we are just using it as a way to play matchmaker. If they become a couple, that is great, but if they don't that is fine too. A weapon and their meister can be romantically linked to anyone and yet still be partners with each other, regardless of gender. Weapons can date other weapons, etc. Teachers and students may also date each other so don't feel limited by that either.
Now, if you are paired with someone you didn't really want DO NOT IGNORE THEM. That is just plain rude and we will kick you out. There is no face-chasing here and we want to build a community that simply likes to have fun with each other. Play with them and have a good time, it's not permanent unless you both want it to be so relax and just let it be.
In the event that your partner quits the rp, you will be put immediately back into the application pool for that week.
