note
If you have watched the series then you will have no problem, for the roleplay will run fairly similar to how the actual show is. However if you are new to MTV's "The Challenge" series this guide is meant to help answer any questions about how things will work and will tell you a bit about the series however feel free to check out the MTV website or "The Challenge" wiki if you still have any questions, or if you do, please don't hesitate to contact the admins.
HOW IT WORKS:
-Seasons:
Just like the show, we will hold several seasons which are: Rivals I and II, Battle of the Seaons, Battle of the es, Battle of the Exes I and II, The Island, Gauntlet I, II and III and finally Free Agents. Each season will consist of approximately 10-11 challenges until it ends and we have a winner.
-Challenges and Eliminations:
As mentioned above there will be 9-11 challenges "per episode" I guess you could put it that way. The challenges are basically competitons between the teams, partners or individuals that are composed of physical activities or at times trivia questions ect. With each challenge there will be someone who will come first place and one who will come last, whoever comes last is automatically sent into elimination and then another team is voted and sent to elimation to face the least successful team from the previous challenge. If you loose the elimination round you are sent home, if you win however you get a ticket back into the house for a chance to win the big money.
-How will it be determined the winning/loosing team?
Pretty simple! By rolling the dice and here is how. If you are playing individually you will roll the dice twice every challenge ( one roll for the first number, another roll for the second number) We will have a lucky number if you roll that number you will be the winning team, if you roll the number backwards, lets say the lucky number is 25, and you roll a 52 you're going into elimination to face the other person that is voted as well. If you are competing in partners/teams same rules apply. However if no one rolls the lucky number that day then the admin will randomly pick a winning and loosing team.
-How to vote someone to be sent into elimination?
Simple as well, everyone will vote in the voting room, and yes it will be made public because that creates drama and tension between the individuals and it's somewhat the purpose of the show.
-Contestants:
Every season there will be 20-24 contestants meaning 10-12 males and 10-12 females depending on the season that will be played. Until the spots are taken the season will not start however you are still able to roleplay with one another, after all it's good to make some connections before the actual game starts. Players will be chosen depending on the criteria and personality, likes and dislikes which is why it is crucial that you fill these out in your applications. Applications will close once we have every filled spot for that season, however once the season is over we will open up applications again for the rookies to join and so on. If you are not chosen to participate that season you are still able to roleplay with everyone, however you just can't participate on the challenges and such. The admin will PM you if you are participating this season and don't tell anyone if you are until the show finally starts, that way it can be a surprise wink wink.
-What happens after the season is over?
After the season has ended all the participants will join once again for a small reunion where the host (one of the admins) will ask you some questions ect.
Well that is all, I think I've covered everything but again if you have any questions please please please ask away and I will try to answer to the best of my abilities! Thank you for your time and have a great day :)
