either your parents don't approve of
you pursuing a career in dance
or you just wanted to come out and play
with different kinds of people.
the dancers hold underground dance
battles in the abandoned subway
stations running under the city.
1/4 dance crews
1/4 dance crew leaders
(dance crew leaders create the name and can recruit certain people for their crew. dance crews typically have 5-12 members)

rappers
maybe you wanted to try a different
musical approach and discovered rapping.
no one really cares for rap,
unless of course you come to the large
back alleyway. that's where all
rappers congregate, with loud music systems
and mics to test their skills against others.
(their are some rap groups but they aren't typical, and many just perform with friends when not alone. if there is a rap group, it has about 3-4 members)

drag racers
of course it's illegal to drag race, but
most can get away with it as long as no one
notices and the police aren't around.
drag racers live for the fast
life and the adrenaline rush. watch
out when walking on the streets if a race
is starting.

gangs
now sure, most gangs have bad people
in them, but the gangs in this city are much closer.
sure they'll have deals to close and use
more than violent tactics but those in the same gang
are a family and won't betray each other. the
gangs in this city don't like
each other though, and often fights will
break out between them.

thrill seekers
jumping off of buildings, parkour, dangerous activities.
that's what thrill seekers are all about. living
life on the edge and pushing themselves to the
best of their abilities. most people
see thrill seekers as crazy and psychotic but
they are much braver than most people.
maybe that's why?

civilians
these people, well, they haven't found
their nightlife family yet. most of them are quite
weirded out by all this but continuously
visit the people who are most active at night.
maybe they're looking for a family? or
maybe they just like hanging out, and will
never actually join a group.
it's up to them to decide their fate really,
unless they get caught up in something
that forces them to join.

explosives
boom! crack! homemade fireworks,
small bombs, bottle rockets. explosives are
people who make their own explosions
out of everyday things. many might be seen as
a little off their rocker but they're very
smart, which is proven through their inventions.
many explosives congregate by the abandoned
railroad tracks to test out new light shows.
