Happy Second Anniversary!

Could you believe it? Today is actually the roleplay’s second year anniversary! It’s been two good years since we established this roleplay, and it feels nice knowing we’ve lasted this long. Had it not been for you guys, Half-Blood Hill won’t be alive until now. I would like to thank those who had been with me ever since this roleplay has been created. Yes, I’m actually going to mention names.
To Stephen Krause (gyulaxy), I wouldn’t have come up with such quest plots had it not been for your help, and I wouldn’t have been a good admin without your guidance. You’re one of the people who helps me the most with making my decisions—decisions that may help the roleplay grow as we do. Thank you so much. Let’s continue working together, yeah?
To Alaric Barton (vanillamustard), who is also one of my fellow creators of this roleplay, thank you for always being there. Well, even if you’re not actually in this roleplay a lot these days, we still have our own ways of connecting with each other anyway.
To Cersei Del Rey (LIMERENCE), who is also a mother to this roleplay, thank you for agreeing to my idea of actually doing this. Look at our baby now, growing up. Omfg I feel so proud I—yeah. Lol. There wouldn’t be a Half-Blood Hill roleplay had it not been for you helping me out before (and even until now, actually).
To Summer Clarke (potatersalad), my awesome aphrosis who’s also my co-admin and a fabulous layout coder. Your ideas are also amazing! You helped this roleplay grow into what it is today in so many ways, may it be in giving your opinions in the topics we talk about in the Admin Room or may it be with the plot ideas you suggest we use.
To Lloyd Garett (eleutheromania), you piece of dork. You may be inactive now, but you’re still part of the squad! You made the roleplay so active before, and had it not been for you, we won’t reach the top. What, with your contribution and all. The roleplay misses you!
To Christien Lovenly (PaigeOfHope), who is the newest co-admin (I treat him like a baby, okay, he’s my baby brother), thank you for your wonderful ideas! We will surely put them into use. I’m looking forward to working with you more these coming days (months, or perhaps even years?).
To Stephanie Johnson (fudgeu), who used to be the Oracle and also a mother to this roleplay… hey, girl. Thank you for helping me out, may it be giving opinions to what I do, to the plots I give, or to the changes I make. It’s good to see you back.
To Nicholas Gasirkarov (The_Scientist), who also used to be my co-admin, I want to thank you for your wonderful ideas that helped the roleplay grow into what it is today, and also for your advices. I learned a lot of things, thanks to you. I promise not to put your efforts and ideas into waste.
To the other roleplayers: thank you! Thank you for staying with me until now. Omfg I feel like I’m writing a farewell letter, but really, I’m only writing this out of gratitude. I’m so happy right now, seeing how we’ve gone this far. The truth of hardwork and constant sleepless nights trying to come up with plots—HAHAHA. Kidding, kidding.
Anyway, enough of the drama part.
Going back to business…
We’ve made a few changes in the roleplay. As of yesterday, I have already added them into the Roleplaying System announcement, but right now I will also mention them here, so as to make sure you’ll all be able to read it.
INVENTORY LIMIT
We are putting a limit in the number of items in your inventory. For starters, you will have two inventory slots: one slot for a main weapon, the other for any magical item. This is so that we will all be fair in terms of creating our inventories, since I've noticed some are putting in too many unnecessary items into their items. If you want to add one more item, but your current slots are in use or full, you may purchase a slot in the camp store. An inventory slot costs 200 AP. You may only acquire free inventory slots if a god/goddess gives you a gift; and no, I'm not talking about godmodded gods and goddesses. I'm talking about the ones who are roleplayed by other roleplayers.
THE LOTTERY ROOM
The Lottery Room will appear in random times. If you're lucky, you might be online when we open the lottery room. Only those who happen to come across the lottery room will be able to roll the dice. But don't be so sure of your luck! You may either gain or lose points in the lottery room. Apparently, Nemesis does not favor Tyche being all too nice to demigods. So good luck, campers. If Tyche's on your side, you might gain some points. If not, be prepared to lose some.
CONTACTS WITH GODS/GODDESSES
You may not write in your background how you had contact with the gods. You can't say you're raised underwater, for a child of Poseidon, or in the Underworld, for a child of Hades, nor cared for by other deities, major or minor ones. Given that gods in this roleplay are not supposed to be godmodded, you may not godmod the gods. If you feel hesitant about your writing, feel free to consult an admin so we can review your profile. Admins may grant you permission to godmod the gods only if you ask us and if you give us a valid reason.
ABILITIES
Please keep it in mind that there are some abilities that may only be added into your profile once purchased by activity points. For starters, you may only take those that are not in premium. This limits a roleplayer in making their characters too powerful.
WEAKNESSES
Don't make your character too powerful to the extent that he or she is almost invulnerable. There's a reason why we half-bloods are called DEMI gods and not gods. We still have mortal blood running in our veins, which makes us vulnerable. I don't really require you to put your weaknesses in your profile if you want to keep it confidential and for other roleplayers to find out once they roleplay with you. I would just like to remind you that you should not make your character invincible.
Those, by far, are what we had added into the Roleplaying System. I hope that you guys will be able to comply to the new rules, and will be able to make changes in your profiles as soon as possible. I’m not asking for a full revamp—I’m only asking for some changes.
As promised, there will be an event but… not for now. Be patient and be ready, demigods! For all you know, we might be doing a game soon enough. I do hope that each and one of you will be active again soon.
