The Legend behind Seyanti and Yetanii

Long ago, before the time of men there were only the gods, and the gods lived in peace with one another. They lived among the clouds and walked among the stars and were always considered equal. One God however was discontented with the way things were. He wanted more, wanted power and honor above the rest. This God broke away from his brothers and sisters and set about to create a new world, one where beings in his likeness could live. The other Gods saw what the rebellious one, as he would later come to be known, had done and they were displeased. Two in particular sought to monitor the doings of this god and took their places as distant celestial bodies, and so the sun and the moon were born. It was in the witching hours when it was not quite day or not quite night when these gods would walk the earth among the rebellious one’s creations and make change when change was necessary. The gods saw the wars fought in the rebellious one’s honor and were appalled, rivers ran red with the blood of the innocent. In an attempt to guide the people of earth to a more peaceful existence the god who had claimed the sun as his celestial home built from the rivers of blood a new race.  He believed this race would bring about the dawn of a new era , an era of peace.  He was mistaken, the beings made in the likeness of the rebellious one lashed out against the new peaceful race, riots ensued and once again the rivers ran red with blood.  The sun god, displeased and distraught over the death of his people  intervened  again,  bestowing upon them some of his godly powers. These unique and supernatural powers  would allow his people to protect themselves from the persecution, to become gods among men. These beings came to call themselves the Seyanti. Though reluctant to use their powers against the human’s they held their ground against the prosecution and soon an uneasy peace settled between the Seyanti and the humans. The humans and the Seyanti lived in peace for a few generations but  the Seyanti began to tire of the mistreatment and mistrust still practiced  by the humans. Their fear of these beings more powerful than themselves drove them to attack the Seyanti. both sides suffered many casualties. Once again appalled by the loss of life the gods intervened again this time the moon goddess with her gentle ways brought to life a new race in her likeness from the blood of the fallen Seyanti.  These beings came to be known as the Yetanii and mirrored their solar counterparts. They inherited their primary power as a lesser version of the Seyanti’s powers. the moon goddess realized the diminished nature of their powers and gifted them a second of equal strength, a power that would allow them to defend themselves and the Seyanti against the humans. The Yetanii, tired of fighting with the humans and with the help of their goddess, and the powers of defence and protection bestowed upon them they locked the world of the Seyanti and the Yetanii away from prying mundane eyes.

If you guys may have not noticed, we have changed the titles between students and shadows.

Students are now known as Seyanti
Shadows are now known as Yetanii

Now if someone says "students" They will be referring to all the people enrolled at the school.
