Hey everyone, admin Luhan/Hyuk/Junior here with our usual Monday announcement.
There is a lot to talk about this week, so apologies for the length of this post. Basically due to me and admin Baekhyun/Tao being away this weekend, there will be some changes, however they should benefit you guys, ;) First though... the stats.
They are a LOT better this week, which is a relief. Still not perfect, but a lot more improved on last weeks. We lost FOUR wolves for gaining too many strikes, and another FOUR strikes were given out. However... FOUR strikes were removed this week, so a huge thank you goes to Juliane, IU, CL and Minah. You go girls. It is rather amusing that it is all fours this week... XD Could it be a lucky number?
Anyway, the strike list has been updated but here it is for you all as well:
1 Strike - Baekhyun, Baro, Changbum, Dongwoo, Hongbin, Hyeongkon, Jiyeon, Kai, Lay, Leo, Maimi, Mika, Ren, Taemin, Tao, Yoona
2 Strikes - Baekho, B-Joo, Bom, Hayoung, Hyunseong, Jackson, Jungkook, L.Joe, Niel, NS Yoonji, Ravi, Ricky, Taeyang
Remember it takes TEN room posts over a post check week to remove a strike, yet only TWO room posts over a post check week to avoid getting one altogether.
And on that note, there is a change to this week's post check. Instead of the last day being on Sunday this week, it will be extended through to the following week. So instead of it lasting 7 days, it will be lasting 14 days instead. Also there will be no post check made on Thursday, Sunday or Monday this week... so the next update for the list will be made on Thursday 6th. We apologise for any inconvenience this makes. But I will be without my laptop over the weeked and therefore unable to perform my usual admin duties.
But at least you have longer this time to make your minimum posts. That's always a good thing.
Another thing that might benefit you this week is our special Blue Moon Weekend! Usually when we run a full moon it only lasts for that single day. This time, however, it will last the whole weekend! So from the 30th until the end of August 3rd (UK time) a special room will be opening up for everyone to post in. You won't be able to miss it since it will be at the top of the rooms list. It is plot free so there is no excuse for you NOT to post in there.
Just remember... Wolf forms only for that room. Usually we don't allow pregnant wolves to participate in the full moon but considering this is a special Blue Moon, everyone is allowed to this time. Wolves with babies... that's completely up to you guys.
The blue moon does not affect the group plot and vice versa, so even those wolves taking part in that are also free to take part in the blue moon. Like we said, it's plot free.
We also have the start of the month this week, on Saturday, so from then for seven whole days, everybody will be in heat. Not sure what that means? Check out the FAQ. I would have been doing my usual sweeps of the lists, and offering some of you higher positions in the pack on that day too, however... I am not going to be at my laptop to be able to do so. So instead that will be happening on the 4th, when I'm home and free to do my usual duties. Again we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you guys.
Finally... we have our very first Pack Gathering Event! Like I explained in our anniversary announcement, we will be running this event for all single wolves.
Basically there will be a gathering, by a water source, of all of the packs. The alphas (or betas if they go in their alphas place) will lead all of the pack's single wolves to the event. There they will watch over their pack members as they get to know wolves of other packs and maybe even form bonds. This shall help to strengthen alliances and friendships between packs as well as possibly allow those single wolves to find their future mates. It is not guaranteed, of course, but attending the event may very well help.
A room will be opening up specifically for the event, on the 1st, and will remain open for a whole month. This should give everyone plenty of time to get to know each other and form those friendship (or stronger) bonds. Just like the full moon room, it will be situated near to the top of the roleplayable rooms list.
Phew, so much this week... sorry for the information haul I just threw at you. But hopefully all of this will help everyone to meet this post check. Between the extended time frame, the blue moon event AND the single mingle event... there really is NO excuse for anyone not to be able to meet the posting requirement this time.
Like I said before, me and admin Baekhyun/Tao will be away from Thursday and return home on Monday, so applications will be shut during that time, and none of the usual updates will be made. Admin Eunhyuk/Kiseop/Heechul will still be around to keep an eye on things though, so keep sticking to the rules. I don't want to come back to find that loads of strikes have been given out for rule breaking, ;)
That's about it though, so unless something crops up before hand I will see you all again in TWO weeks time for our next Monday announcement.
