Hello everyone and thanks so much for being a part of our little "Cramily"! We're honestly approaching our first week soon, so to celebrate, we're starting out our first event. It's a murder-mystery style game that's set to encourage lots of lovely posts from you all and just... give you a chance to stretch your minds and have fun!
[ The prompt: Everyone knows that not all of the families have the best relationships, in fact rivalries run strong on the set... But no one knew just HOW strong. While the crew set up for a totally unscripted, impromptu picnic event--- one of the family members decided it would be fun to sneak a "secret" ingredient into the potato salad... He/she thought the most it would do was cause a bad stomach bug but, boy, were they wrong... Whatever that stuff was, it only caused a an hour's worth of a flu-like symptoms before morphing and granting the victim... superhuman powers. The cast wave it off, thinking that it's just special effects and the magic of makeup, but the crew's desperately scrambling behind the scenes to find the culprit and reverse the effects. It's a recipe for disaster, yes, but... the show's gotta go on somehow. ]

So yes. For this week's event, the rp is basically turning into an AU. Your character is now allowed to have any one power of your choosing (just, don't god-mod please!)... But here's the catch.
1.) Only a few people at a time are infected, and these people will know this when they've been PMed by an admin.
2.) Once you've received an admin's message, your name will have a symbol next to it, letting everyone know that you're officially affected by the potatoes.
3.) It's up to the rp to guess who was the original culprit. YOU CANNOT ASK ANYONE OOC IF THEY'RE THE CULPRIT, AND THE CULPRIT CANNOT OUT THEMSELVES.
4.) We will make a few polls each day to get everyone involved and actively guessing as to who could be the one responsible.
5.) Only the picnic rooms are where your characters can have powers, that way we can encourage people to use them!
6.) If you'd like to rp in the picnic rooms but you haven't been infected yet, you still can! But please only post an "infection" post once your character's been PMed.
EXAMPLES OF INFECTION POSTS include prompts like "holy fudge, I was just trying to feed the ducks but why am I suddenly turning INTO one?" or maybe even "wow, I really like this guy... he's pretty cute, but I hope my laser beam eyes don't kill him."
Have fun with it! Your characters aren't expecting this, so let them freak out all they want. This event will only be held for a week, and then the culprit will be revealed on August 15th (gmt -6). Please be active and fun and cute af. ;u; Remember, you don't have to go novella on us... but definitely put in some effort! If you need any ideas for plots, you can hit up the Plot Room!
