MAKE ME LOVE YOU SUMMER EVENT

Dear Residents and Fam of MMLY Thank you for sticking with us through these slow and rough times. We know a lot has happened and more than a few of you are feeling a little down so that is why we have decided to treat everyone with a mini beach vacation! Now is the time to pull together as a community and really celebrate all that we have come to cherish here in our little slice of home. Who knows? We might even make memories that are bigger and brighter than before. For all of those who are interested in this little endeavor, all you have to do is join us down at the beach. We can arrange buses and other transport if you'd like or you can make a mini road trip out of it with your friends. There are many cabins right on the sand which have been rented out just for you guys to enjoy. If you would prefer to camp right out on the beach, you are more than free to do that too. Food has also been provided with round the clock bonfires and grills good to go should you be feeling peckish. Drinks of all shapes and sizes are available in the cabins as well as huts along the beach and the bar near the dance floor. Want to take them with you?

By all means, help yourselves. Coolers and buckets of ice are at the ready should you want to take your refreshments out onto sand. As always. there are desserts aplenty whenever you want to oblige your sweet tooth. So what do we do once we are there? Pretty much whatever you want (but if it is , please move it to the walls. This is an event for the entire community and not everyone wishes to scroll past that. Thank you!). There are fire pits, bonfires, surf and sand to play in, volleyball nets and even a dance floor with DJ set up for entertainment. Looking for some more guided entertainment? Make Me Love You Proudly Presents our Summer Lovin' Activities!

1. A MMLY summer bingo: During the week of the event each of you are given a blank 'bingo' card with 10 empty spaces along with a personalized colored stamp. The goal here is to get 10 unique stamps from other members of the MMLY community.

How do you get these stamps? Well, you can't just ask for them. That would be too easy. In order to get a stamp we encourage you to talk to the other members and learn something about them beyond simply their name. Have a conversation, share a thought or a memory. Heck, even make one to earn that stamp.

When you feel like someone has earned a stamp, you stamp their card and feel free to make it personal (EX: *smiles warmly at Baekhyun as I stamp his card with my rainbow colored name* ). Please include the name. Once that is done, the person you stamped frames it on their wall. When they collect their stamps, contact one of the admins so we can hand out your special commemorative prizes.

2. Beach Relay Race: Members can sort themselves into teams of five, come up with a team name, logo, and/or color. Then we will pair off the teams to race. Each race has five 'rounds' for each member's leg of the race. When a player's leg is active, they roll the dice. They have to keep rolling until they get over the number 21 and that is when they pass off the baton to the next runner. At the end, we count it all up and see which completed their five legs in the shortest amount of rolls. There will also be some carryover points like if someone was at 20 then rolled a 6, the next runner would start with 5 points. If a player or team does not finish and forfeits, they have to do a punishment assigned by the other team for all to see.

The winning teams will be paired off and continue to race until one is left standing. All the members of the winning team will be featured in the next announcement and in a special room dedicated to this event once it is over so they will be able to remember and show off their victory forever. Gotta love dem bragging rights.

For those who don't win, you will all still get prizes and honorable mentions as well as the memory of having a crazy couple of days with friends.

3. Summer Playlist: Members who wish to participate and share in their love and fond memories of summer can create a playlist and PM the link to it to Jieun. She will place it anonymously in the music room for all to see. At the end of the event, we will have the attendees vote on which playlist they liked the most. The winner gets to be featured in the Summer Event Room as the MMLY Summer DJ!

Anyone who submits a playlist will also still get prizes and honorable mentions.

~~ So those are the three main events but we will have other activities as well that will include coloring pages, word searches, hang man, trivia, and more.
