The finale was a wild ride with two former contestants being brought back to compete again. Round 1 asked the remaining girls to compose and perform songs of their own, which led to the elimination fo Elise and Airi. Round 2 was just a harsh, the girls having only a few hours to choose and record a second song. Though each girl rocked the stage, the final elimination round cut two more girls, revealing the final members that were to debut.
Ella Kim revealed these members to be: Jennie, Minha and Au.tumn.
The news shocked many fans and followers of the show, many of them not having expected Jennie, a previously eliminated contestant, to win out over the others, though many agree that she fits the image well and express excitement at their debut.
Through a press conference after the end of the show, CEO Ella Kim appointed Sung Hoon, former ballad artist, as the new group's manager. Their name was announced as IIIage, and they are expecting to have a very powerful debut in the coming months with a concept that features all levels of talent.
And for those of you wondering about the contestants eliminated in the finale, don't worry, Ella Kim has hinted at news of a new group already in the works for the coming year. Your bias will not be lost forever!
