while trainee Eliott stuns fans once again for his birthday
Earlier this week, briefly after the opening of Petal Entertainment's Naver page, CEO Kim Heechul announced the incoming debut of the company's first girl group, and first group produced under the company ever. The teaser was spread out by two posts, the first in introduction post by Heechul himself, announcing the name of the group and that their first album was already recorded, leaving the fans to wonder what kind of concept the girls would have. Shortly afterwards, the Diamond Divas opened up their official Naver page and made their own post. The post consisted of a photo of all five girls with their backs faced to the camera, the caption giving away nothing as it encourages their fans to "Look forward".
Fans are definitely looking forward to their debut as well from what we can see in the comments. People instantly poured into the forum, writing all kinds of messages to the girls to express their excitement. So far, Heechul hasn't given us much but we have at least learned the names of the girls.
So we're waiting Petal! We're ready for the Diamond Divas: Jiwon, Sunny, Krystal, Minha and Mimi!

At the same time, while DD are getting their well deserved fame, Petal also released a new dance video on their Youtube Channel, this time by the known Eliott - a boy we've seen multiple times by now. The video was released at midnight, on the day of Eliott's birthday and hoarded a bit over 100K views in the first 5 minutes of its posting.
We noticed him first during the Fashion show when he and fellow trainee Park Jinyoung did their self produced song "My I". It seems Eliott has decided to drop the pretty facade and turn to the dark side, in his rendition of "Temple" by Baauer. The video is positively gruesome and has us on edge the whole time, asking for more.
Many people on forums commented that "he looks so wicked, I'm scared to look...", "Eliott-oppa, please turn back to being pretty again T.T" and "YES! This is the quality content I like to see! This is skill and art!".
Netizens also did not miss to point how Heechul seems to be favoriting this particular boy, just like they did during the Fashion Show, when they pinpointed their uncanny similar looks. "He is just as psychotic as Heenim, no wonder he loves him" commenters say, and we can't help but notice the similarities indeed, not only in looks but some of the crazy roles Heechul has taken during his time as an idol.
Let's hope Kim proves us wrong and doesn't play favorites, by stealing DD's spotlight!
