woo, look at that already i'm posting an announcement and we've only been open three days!

first up, thank you all so much for joining our family! already we are over 20 favourites and have 20+ members rolling about our rooms and walls which i'm pleased with. i'm hoping to get more chatter going so our family grows even more! the more noise we have here, the more fun.

so this announcement is more to touch base than anything, to help welcome everyone to our home and hope that they all have a fun time here. now, i know it can be a little overwhelming seeing chatrooms smothered in green but please don't be intimidated at all by the admins. don't let it stop you! we are making noise hoping you're jump on in - we always are inclusive. we have noticed not a lot of people are making use of the core chatrooms and while they aren't a requirement, we do want to give everyone a chance to be active and feel like part of the family.

just a few quick mentions - don't forget to check out the information control panel to see helpful things that you may need in the future including the wishlist, hiatus list and couple room. the request room is there as well so if you wish to have a room or would like a location added to roleplay in, don't be shy! we encourage it greatly.

next up - i mentioned it in the rules but i'd like to bring it up again. there is a 2 week dating ban on all people when you first join on a character. these days are being tracked by admins in a room exclusive to us. if you would like the list to be public, please let us know. it's nothing fancy, literally it's just a room with all your names and the date the 2 weeks is up. the only people these bans don't apply to are moving couples but they need to state in applications, as usual, and have themselves submitted to the couples list.

would appreciate if people could comment saying they've read and to add a yes or no in their comment in regards to the date ban room question.
