a reminder
Hello, everyone.
this announcement is not about a new event or something else to torment you with.
instead, it is a reminder.
it's a reminder about multi-accounting and specifically, how unfair and not allowed it is.
if someone doesn't know what multi-accounting is - it is when the same person creates different accounts on rpr, and pretends to be different people, in order to take different faces, for one reason or another.
it may not be explicitly stated in the rules, we always thought it'd be the logical thing and the fairest thing to everyone, and we hoped it wouldn't be needed to reinstate that multi-accounting is absolutely not okay. Not in this roleplay, nor have we ever seen any roleplay where it is allowed.
If it is necessary it shall go into the rules as a point as well.
i'll be honest, it's beyond me why anyone would make a second or third account on here and pretend to be someone they're not. none of us is here with their real name, we're all faking something, so why create even more imaginary people?
But, that aside.
the character limit is there for a reason and it's not fair to others to take more faces, let alone breaking their trust by making another account.
yes, in the larger scheme of things, it's obviously not that big of a deal. Nobody's getting hurt (as far as we know) by this.
BUT... its something reasonable to follow, a rule and a really easy one at that.
We're all adults, so it shouldn't be that hard to just hold back and only have a handful of characters...
The numerous accounts only serve to create a trust issue, obviously. So, it shouldn't be happening.

we're not pointing names, but it has become a widespread plague across rpr and we decided to reinstate it. so, let me beg, on the behalf of the a-team and the whole rp - if you are wielding more than one account, please remain in this rp with only one.
