❝Moonlight ☾ Origin❞ #4

Hello my Moonies, yes I'm sticking with the old format of announcements even though we have entered V.3 because even though the other layout appears to work on my phone, I don't trust it to say the least!

As you may or may not have noticed, Moonlight Origin has been moved onto version 3 already, this time featuring Disney! This is all in preparation of the Disney event we admins have been planning and building up on the last few weeks. Before I get into the details on that, I desperately need to update you all on the new inactivity rules that have been put into place.

New rules: When you go inactive, you will still have 48 hours to notify an admin should you wish to remain in the roleplay, however, you must do this via replying to the admin who posts the notice on your wall and ones you have replied to that admin, you then have 24 hours to reach a point limit. For now it will be set at 50 points. This is to stop people from going inactive, coming back in to say one thing, clear the notice and then bounce away into the night. If you can't manage the point limit in the time given, you shouldn't really be here as we are trying to be an active roleplay and we can't if people aren't participating. The new inactive warning clearly explains what you need to do, failure to comply will result in removal. Of course, you can come back but make a habit of it, and eventually we will have to start saying no. Onwards to the Disney event!

Starting on Saturday the 15th of June and lasting through to the 30th, a new set of rooms will be available for everyone to roleplay in and they are all parts of the amazing Disneyland! Because it's Disneyland, you bet we're gonna get into the spirit of it by dressing the part! And thus, this announcement is being posted early enough to allow for people to start looking for their outfits - but there's a catch. This isn't a "change your DP to match" situation, it's a "make use of google and get some Disney Bounding outfits for the character you want to be" situation. So first of all: What is Disney Bounding?

Disney Bounding is a way for teenagers and adults alike to express their love for Disney without actually wearing costumes. Because of our ages, we wouldn't be allowed into Disneyland dressed in costumes, so instead we are going to dress in outfits that represent our chosen character. Below are a few ideas so you can see where this is going. A room will be opened in the next day or so that has more information on the event ahead of time so everyone can get their heads wrapped around it, especially because each room will have group missions that can be completed as well as dice prompts, just in case you don't know where to start on the event, you can roll and play out the rolled scenario.

Everyone in the roleplay has been split into groups of 4-5 people who you will spending the event with from hotel arrangements to group missions as the event is active. To all the couples out there, don't worry! The last few days of the event you will be allowed to traverse through the park with your loved one/ freely. We are really wanting to encourage people to mingle outside their relationships and have purposely split couples into seperate groups for the core part of the event. Each hotel room will have the occupants listed, in case you don't know who is part of your group. 

After the chaos of the first ever Moonlight Hunger Games, new stickers have been added that can be collected! These include participating in the event (here meaning be there to boo or cheer when certain events happen during the simulation or threaten vengence even!), being in the top 10 to survive at the time, being the actual victor and, as a funny joke, for being killed off in the first round two times in a row - we know it's possible because someone has been victim to this already. People who want to be a part of the future round of the simulator are welcome to drop their names in at the new Hunger Games room located - > here. If all goes well, the simulations will be run weekly, on a weekend during the busy hours so more people can be around to participate.
