Tensions between the humans and the pack have been building in the shadows for many moons. Most couples were blessed by the moon Goddess and had large litters these past two seasons, when before the pack had been stagnant and there hadn't been new pups born for some time. Restless and unsettled by the pack's sudden expansion, the humans who have been spying on the island and have made moves against the pack in the past have decided they needed to take care of the threat once and for all.
Based on experimentation on captured wolves, humans have created and perfected weapons geared to overcoming their own inherent weakness and exploiting the pack's. Some members have had the misfortune of having these used against them already but, in an effort to avoid widespread panic, it has been kept under wraps. Until now...
With a young pup now missing, a meeting has been called at the Chancellors' mansion with all the pack leaders to determine a course of action... But ominous tidings loom ever closer and there might not be time to plan anymore.
Yes! The pack event that was requested by members has begun!
A meeting has been called with the pack leaders, but it's too late. While the leaders are all preoccupied, the enemy has unleased all kinds of hell upon the village and everyone must be prepared to defend themselves, the pack, and their home!
My mission for you during this event is to roleplay with one person you don't normally roleplay with. When you do, comment here with their name. You will receive points for this.
Humans have three kinds of weapons which they are turning on the pack now.
Silver: They have silver weapons in the form of daggers, explosives, bullets, and various hunting traps. If your wolf is hit by these, it burns and has a poisoning effect which slowly seeps into your blood stream and will need an antidote.
Bioweapon: A gas which is derrived from silver and will quickly poison and incapacitate the target when they breathe it in. It causes little blood vessels to burst - resulting in easy bruising, nose bleeds, and bloodshot eyes in the earliest stages. This will eventually progress into delirium, internal bleeding, multi-system organ failure, and eventually death if left untreated.
Prime Hunter: A genetically modified, cybernetic creature created from experimentation on the blood of the Supreme, which runs in both Jinhyuk (the son of the former Supreme) and Siwon (the active Supreme). It is stronger and faster than a wolf, as well as a supreme tracker/hunter. They have a high pitched scream which is like a dog whistle and will mess up a wolf's hearing and equilibrium. There are a total of three. It is recommended that you attempt to fight these in groups of three, at the least.
Each enemy type has a dice system component (if you decide to use it. You do not need to use the spontaneous dice roll if you do not want to and just want to roleplay things out):
Regular humans, who are inherently weaker than wolves, will take three hits to defeat and they usually do not get the first hit/attack because they are slower than wolves (unless they catch you by surprise).
Prime Hunters would take eight (because they are supposed to be very difficult to combat) hits to defeat and should be taken down in groups bigger than two. They always have the combat advantage and get the first move/hit.
It is up to you how many hits your character takes before they are incapacitated. I am not giving wolves a certain number of hit points, but please be realistic.
Essentially, the combat system works the same as in the tournament. The roleplayers themselves will be rolling for the enemies they choose to fight, but who gets the first attack is already determined based on the enemy type you choose to face so you do not need to do an initial roll to determine that.
For example, if Hoseok found a human, I would roll for him and then roll for the human. If the roll for Hoseok was higher than the human's roll, then the attack is successful and the human takes 1 point of damage. If Hoseok's roll was lower than the human's, then the human dodges the attack and gets to initiate a counter attack. In which case, Hoseok would then roll for the human first and then himself, as the human then has the combat advantage.
If Hoseok fought a Prime Hunter, I would roll for the Hunter and then for Hoseok. If the hunter rolls higher than Hoseok, the hunter's hit is successful and Hoseok takes damage. If Hoseok's roll is higher, he dodges and gets to initiate a counter attack roll.
If you have any questions, PM Hoseok.
