Hello everyone~♡!

Welcome to this rp's VERY FIRST announcement! Unfortunately, it isn't to announce an event as I'd hoped it be.

I have been seeing a lot of people (usually rped by the same rper) rping with each other on walls. This is in no way an issue, rp way!

What IS an issue, is that the posts are sometimes in 1st POV script style. This is a 3rd POV rp, as stated in the rules you read before joining the rp.

I had made one exception for a rper who wanted to write 1st POV, but only because they would still be writing full sentences and not in script. I'm unsure if this confused people, but since then I have been seeing more and more 1st POV script...

Here are some examples of what IS and IS NOT allowed here:

Allowed: 3rd POV

Mini raised her head, the smooth motion causing her cascading silk hair to spill over her shoulders. Her wide, bright eyes held a dull, tired spark as she radiantly smiled at the other. She looked like a contradiction. There was no logic to the blend of her facial expressions. Mini's perfect smile shattered as her lips began to quiver. She whispered: "I don't want to die."

Allowed: 1st POV para

I raised my head, the smooth motion causing my cascading silk hair to spill over my shoulders. My wide, bright eyes held a dull, tired spark although my smile was blindingly radiant. I looked like a contradiction. There was no logic to the blend of my facial expressions. My perfect smile cracked as my lips began to quiver and I whispered: "I don't want to die."

NOT Allowed: 1st POV script

*raises my head, the smooth motion causing my cascading silk hair to spill over my shoulders*
*my wide, brigtht eyes hold a dull, tired spark although my smile is blindingly radiant*
*looking like a contradiction, there is no logic to my facial expressions*
I don't want to die. *whispers, my lips quivering*

Now you might ask, what's the big difference between 1st POV para and 1st POV script? Why can't we just write however we like?

The example of 1st POV script above is an example of a moderately lengthy 1st POV script post. As I'm sure you have seen in plenty of rps that allow 1st POV, 1st POV script tends to rapidly deteriorate into the following:

*looks up and smiles*
I don't want to die.

This rp is for fleshed out plots, a playground to live out your muse, and excite and inspire others with it. I firmly believe that this is not possible with short 1st POV script. To summarize, to avoid 'good enough' 1st POV script to become 'barely adequate' 1st POV script, I have banned 1st POV script altogether.

I have already poked a few people regarding using the wrong POV. I appreciate all of you who joined this rp. However, be warned, if I need to tell anyone twice that they shouldn't use 1st POV script there will be consequences. I completely understand slipping into 1st POV script accidentally once. But twice? That I consider blatantly ignoring the guidance of an admin.

Anyone rping in 1st POV script after they commented on this announcement will be considered for removal.

If you have any questions of any kind, related to this topic or not, let me know in the comments.
