Greetings and salutations!
Welcome to the first announcement and matchmaking round of Atlantis Ever After. The admin team here would like to thank you all for joining and making this, our dream, possible. We appreciate all of your efforts, time and attention that you give to us in our attempt to make a nice community where all can feel at home.
Before we get into the matches, we would like to address a slight change to the matchmaking rules that will soon be reiterated on the matchmaking page. In order to be eligible to be paired, the character must have completed their 50 Activity Point requirement that begins upon joining. This is to ensure that people are paired with those who intend to be active and stick around because it is not a lot of fun to be matched only to have your match be inactive. It is a small change but one we feel will benefit the roleplay and the roleplay experience as a whole. The other rules remain the same and those who need extensions and/or hiatuses of any kind are temporarily excluded from matchmaking so that no one is matched with an inactive partner.
We would also like to take a moment to discuss how best to ensure this roleplay remains healthy and active. Activity, advertising and word-of-mouth are incredibly important when it comes to the sustainability of a roleplay and so we would like to ask you for your help. Anyone who advertises with a blog post may claim an additional 20 points per day by linking it in the Request Room. Personally recruiting is also a great way to get points as well, earning 50 points for every person brought to the roleplay that completes their 50 Activity Point requirement. There will be a new portion of the application reflecting this change. The recruitment bonus can also be claimed retroactively so if you were brought here because of another user, please let us know in the comment section of this announcement who brought you here so that we may give them their reward. Other than that, please try and pop into chats and be active so that we can draw in more wonderful folks.

The first batch of couples that will be paired from June 4th to June 18th GMT -5 are as follows:

Jung Wheein + Jackson Wang - Drive-In Theater
Park Jungsoo + Park Seonghwa - Aquarium
Ahn Heeyeon + Oh Sehun - Historical Museum
Please tag and introduce yourself to your partner before setting up a date at the indicated location. If your partner does not respond within 48 hours, please let us know. We wish each and every pairing the best of luck and fond wishes for their futures!
If you were not paired at this time, please do not worry. We are working tirelessly (sometimes tiredly in admin Hayley’s case) to try and make the best matches possible. We are hoping in the weeks to come that everyone, every person here, finds a match which lends a song to their heart and brightens their days. Or feeds the inner angst demon because she needs love too. <3
