aah! giant spiders in hogwarts!
Did someone say a giant spider? Well, that's actually incorrect! There are actually probably over two dozen spiders, maybe more, which, now that I think about it, probably might seem way worse to the lot of yeh that are scared of spiders.
I have absolutely no idea where they are, or what they're doing, or how they got there, but from what I gathered from the all the messages I have received, they are all over the castle.
Not to worry, though, they will not harm yeh! They're friendly little—uh, big creatures, I was friends with their father and mother meself! Their father was a nice fellow and kept them from eating me alive, so don't you fret!
Ah, wait, nevermind. Their father is dead. I shouldn't have said that. I should not have said that. I shouldn't have said that.
My mistake—yes, they will try to eat yeh! Not to worry, so long as yeh all stay in groups, it would be easier to fend them off. Try to trap them in something uh, big and strong! Or you lot can just kill them. Whatever yeh prefer.
Unfortunately, I am not on Hogwarts Grounds at the moment. I went to make a quick stop to Diagon Alley to pick up some things for Professor Mcgonagall. I'll come in a jiffy, though! Be there as soon as I can, but for now, the lot of yeh are on yer own!
Oh, and try the spell Arania Exumai. That should hold them off. It doesn't kill them, though. Best of luck!

Acromantulas are giant, magical species of spiders that have a taste for human flesh.
This is our first ever small event! Each and every one of you are tagged in different sections of Hogwarts castle with a spider or two to interact with. There are twenty-four spiders canonically, however we gave thirteen for you to interact with.
Reminder to keep these posts on the shorter side for quick progression. Make sure to tag your partners. To avoid waiting too long, you do not need to take turns to post, but be sure to be inclusive and mindful of your partners!
Your character's goal is to get rid of those pesky creatures! Use all the spells you know to your advantage (excluding the unforgiveable curses, of course). The professors have their own spiders to worry about.
How do you determine success? You each get however many dice rolls you need. Check the dice roll room to check how it works!
Your goal is to complete this task by the end of this event, which is on Friday, November 20th, Midnight PST.
Don't forget, you earn points for participating in an event!
