found dead in europe
Reportings of bodies in the masses had been sent out at about three in the afternoon on Tuesday, April 13th. But that was not what made it alarming — three separate European countries reported these sightings: four bodies were found in Ireland, five in France, and four in Bulgaria.
The Ministry dispatched law enforcement to the wizarding town in County Cork as soon as they received word. It’s apparent that the killings had been timed; the bodies all having been about an hour or so old from the time of their murder by the time Ministry officials arrived at the scene of the crime. For now, there has been no discovery of any traces left by their assailants.
The bodies, Ministry officials say, have no apparent similarities to one another except for two: all had muggle blood of some sort. Some were muggles, while others were muggle-born and half-bloods. Due to the former, muggle law enforcement in their respective towns are also involved in the case.
The second odd find was that ‘Mudblood’ was etched on the flesh of each victim. For those that do not know, this is a slur used to call those that are not of pure blood, or what some have appallingly specified as “those that are ‘tainted’ with muggle ancestry”. Thus, it seems that whoever is behind these attacks is of a pure descent.
However, one may wonder, how and why do they have the ability to be in more than one place at once? Just who is behind these attacks?
The Ministry is working to investigate and provide answers. But some may speculate that the Ministry is as in the dark as we are, with the little response they are willing to give.
All victims will be returned to their respective families and a candlelight vigil will commence on Friday evening at Saint Fin Barr’s Cathedral in County Cork. For those that are unable to attend, the vigil will be recorded in real-time.

leaky cauldron body identified
On Saturday, January 30th at 9:25 p.m., an unidentified body was found by the popular wizarding pub, The Leaky Cauldron. Up until now, the identity of the body has been unknown.
On Sunday, April 11th, the victim’s identity was confirmed. With the Minister’s discretion, the muggle medical examiner, Marigold Schuester, matched the body’s DNA with Seamus Finnigan’s. The deceased was an Irish half-blood with a muggle father and witch mother. He was known to be a Gryffindor student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and graduated in the year of 1998 before becoming a chaser for the County Darry Quidditch Team.
Finnigan was one of the known individuals who bravely fought in the Second Wizarding War, and was a close friend of the Minister of Magic, Hermione Granger-Weasley, and Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, Harry Potter.
Mr. Finnigan was a good man and a good friend to many, and there is no doubt that he will be greatly missed by the wizarding community. Our condolences go out to the members of the Finnigan family.
