❁ You are cordially invited to Black Paradise Club's first festival! ❁
Thanks to Chittapon/Ten's wonderful suggestion, our next event will be a spring festival!
Before the festival kicks off, there are just a few things that have to be clarified.
First things first, if you're on the lookout for festival related activities, look for this symbol (❁). You can find where it's being held and all the rooms included by going to the bottom of the Rooms List and looking for it. Along with that symbol, you will also find Yoshi, your Festival Activities Manager. Anything involving this event, you are to tag him. You can send him PMs or write on his wall with any questions, concerns or comments you may have. He will be more than willing to give you assistance.
This event will run for around a month. Although participation is not required, it would be beneficial to see this as a loose acitivity check. If you need a hiatus or to extend the one you currently have, please, request so in the Hiatus List.
Keep in mind that, if this event is well received, we may do it on a regular. How it will be done is a bit more of a surprise though.
You will find that these rooms are quite self-explanatory with the descriptions in each one but, for a couple, you will find some things clarified below.
Lotus Market is a both a place to walk and to buy festival specific items. What makes it even more special is that, if you so choose, you can have a stall of your own to sell items and earn points.
It would be best to keep items themed to the event (spring-related, flower-related, etc.) to make them more specal and unique. To even assist with character stories, you can sell things related to your character, such as Hongjoong selling spring-themed guitar picks. (He's not doing that but just to give an idea.)
A special note is that this is not specifically driven although mature content is still allowed. Think of this as a neighborhood festival where the community just has a time to come together. That's simply being said as to keep in mind what you're selling.
Now, that beig said, here are two important things to look over, depending on what you'd like to do.
Selling
If you want to have a stall for the festival, you can either buy (1000 for the whole month) or rent one (50 points a day), depending on the amount of points you have to work with. Regardless of whether you’re renting or selling, it will not affect the points that you earn through your sales. Once you have been accepted as a vendor for the festival, your stall name will be added to the Lotus Market list.
All of the points you earn from selling are yours.
Your stall is not for roleplaying; It is only for making and negotiating sales.
You come up with the prices but, keep in mind, you want them reasonable so that you can actually sell your items. Tag Yoshi to complete the purchase. At that time, points will then be deducted from the buyer and added to your points. If you sell out of an item, please, let Manager Yoshi know so that the item(s) can be removed and/or replaced.
Buying
Go to the owner's store and tag the stall owner for the item you want. If you want to haggle the price, it’s between you and the stall owner. Once they have tagged Manager Yoshi to complete the purchase and the points have been transferred, the item will be displayed on your wall or the wall of the person to whom you are gifting it.
Festival Auction
There will be a festival auction. If you would like to participate, you can sign up at Sakura Stage and click the little flower symbol*.
The auction will be run a little differently from the usual BPC Auction style.
Instead of the “going once, going twice,” those subs and masters that are up for auction will only be available for a certain amount of time. At the end of that limited time, the highest bid will win. Everyone who wants to sign up to be auctioned can, regardless of master or sub. The submission process is the same.
*This auction registration form for the Festival Auction is different from the usual one so that there is no mix up or confusion. The rules, levels, and how points are handled are the same though.
For those looking to earn a few extra points, photohraphers are being hired to take pictures on the Flower Walk for anyone that would like them. The pictures are free and you can earn 50 points a day during the festival.
All the person or group of people would have to do is tag you. You could jump in for a few posts and then dip out of proceed to have a conversation with them if you like. All up to you.
At the moment, only three people will be accepted for the photographer position. If any are not being active enough, they will be replaced with someone else who would like to earn a few points. Just let Manager Yoshi know if you would like to sign up for it.
The festival is still a couple of weeks away to give people time to submit things if they need to and to earn points if they'd like or need to. This event is to promote friendship, love and just good old-fashioned fun and story telling, however that works for you.
We hope that you will particpate if you can and that you will enjoy the event!
We look forward to seeing you at the festival!
