To be a prefect in our roleplay is more than just an honourary title in canon. If you are looking to apply as a prefect, you will also be applying to be a moderator of the roleplay to help us admins keep things in check and notify us of any issues that we may miss.
Your primary duties will be to be on the lookout for any out of character drama and, if need be, to step in to deal with it appropriately as well as boost activity in the roleplay through plotting and advertising. We will also be looking to include you in roleplay direction discussions and encourage you to share your ideas with us!

This is a a lengthier application and it's done that way on purpose; we want to be able to trust our moderators as we may not necessarily know them very well. By telling us about you and your character, we can get a feel for who we might be working with.
We would like to stress that this role does not take too much responsibility and time. We do not want you to feel like you need to dedicate yourself to this role. This role is just an extra hand for admins when ooc affairs get out of hand.

while us admins have wildly different timezones, we are aware that there will be small gaps here and there.

do you think you would be capable to taking care of ooc drama, should the occasion arise, in a fair and calm manner?
the most important aspect regarding this question is admin experience. while we don't need details, we'd appreciate you listing roleplays (public or private) where you have had to deal with conflict and how you did it. if you have no previous adminning experience, that won't be a problem (but be aware that we may choose somebody who has had previous admin experience) but we'd still like to know how you would handle conflict as it can be very stressful/upsetting to deal with.

are you be willing to put in the time to occasionally post an ad blog or recommend your rpr friends / acquaintances to the roleplay?
a simple yes or no will suffice; we will be able to provide you with an ad if you would prefer that over posting a meme blog or something of the sort! we're not really picky and this won't be an every day task (or weekly, even).

prefects must be fourth year students. (you will hold this position for the rest of your time at hogwarts as per hp canon unless you leave the roleplay in which your place will become available once more)
