⤳ sᴀʏ 3.0 ┊ clarifications on closing

Hello all,

I'm back again to inform you all about the changes that will begin once January 1, 2022 comes around. I realized that I should have clarified in the closing announcement; however, I didn't want to drop a load of information on you all at once, so this announcement is a follow-up explaining what will take place after December 30, 2021.

Yes, we will be "closing", and I say it that way because we will still be relatively open. I will NOT be drafting the roleplay. Instead, SAY will remain open for those who are currently here (or join before we close). We will not be accepting any new members into our town.

Below is a fully-detailed list of the changes that will take place starting January 1, 2022.

1. Inactivity will still remain intacted; however, it will take longer for members to go inactive. Inactivity will be placed at 2 weeks (14 days). Those who go inactive will be removed IMMEDIATELY without warning.
    
2. Everyone will be allowed up to four (4) characters without needing to meet the eligibility requirements. We will no longer be keeping track of additional characters that go inactive. If you have four characters and one of them goes inactive, they will be removed immediately (as stated above). And of course, you can retrieve additional characters whenever if they are removed due to inactivity.
    
3. CCs will be free-for-all. Everyone will have unlimitied CCs; however, it will be up to the availibility of the admins to change your characters. So if you CC fiends try to CC back-to-back, you may have to wait a few days, depending on when an admin is available to fulfill your CC request. In additional to this, the Character Request room will be removed since we will no longer be keeping track of inactivity.
    
4. Room requests will be free-for-all. Any rooms you would like to have added will be added upon admin availbility; this mainly goes for destination rooms.
    
5. Personal rooms will NO LONGER be hidden and will also be free-for-all. There will still be a limit of ONE (1) room per character, but you no longer need to meet the eligibility requirements to get a personal room. Inactivity of personal rooms will also NOT be monitored. However, they will still be checked frequently to ensure that people are not posting things they're not supposed to be posting.
    
6. Considering the three posts above, there will be ONE designated request room to fulfill any requests you all may have. So any CC, room, personal room requests will be made in this room.
    
7. Last but not least, RULES will still be in place. The safe word 'fromage' is still valid when used. The only rule that will be eliminated is the dating/marriage ban rule, meaning you all are free to date or get married whenever you wish to. If you get married after one day though, I will personally bonk you. Anyone seen violating the rules will be given a 24-hour warning before they are removed, so be on your best behavior, friends.

If there is anything else that needs to be added, I will let you all know via the Updates room. While we will no longer be open for the general public and our environment will be more relaxed, if we're still alive here and are ever in want of a fun event for everyone, we can all come together to discuss ideas. But there will no longer be events that admins, alone, spring on you all.

I hope that through this, we will still remain a safe and inclusive environment for those of us who decide to remain here.
