New Year, New Things!

Admin Yusaku here! And I'm beginning to question when I'm not--

This announcement is to just cover a couple of things before we step into the new year. In this announcement, I'll be addressing:
+ The Auction
+ Hiatus Updates
+ Private Homes Cleanup & Rent Changes
+ Upcoming Events

The Auction

There aren't any changes to the auction or anything. I just wanted to give a reminder that the auction ends in two days (Saturday EST). If you haven't gotten your bids in, please, go do so as soon as you can. You are more than welcome to continue in the daily points room and the lottery room should you need points. The points you earn while talking in the rooms definitely counts as well. As a matter of fact, any points that you earn while the auction is still running are available for your use.

Just make sure that, upon the day of the auction period ending, that you have all the points you needed to cover all of your winning bids. If you need an update as to how many points your bids add up to overall, you can ask me if you like.

Hiatus Updates

I will be going through to check and cleanup the hiatus list soon. For those on the list, if your requested date has passed, I will be simply asking if you would like an extension or for it to be removed. That's all.

Private Homes: Cleanup & Rent

We have had a shift in some of our members leaving and some joining. I will simply be going through to check the homes of those that have left (shared and unshared) just for an update on how to move forward. That being said, I'm going to make it easier for everyone, namely myself, I guess, and work on having rent taken out all on the same day of the month. Come the new year, I will get much better at keeping up with it so, if you pay rent, make sure that you have the points you need to keep your place.

Considering it costs 1,000 points to own a home or 2,000 to build your own, maybe there can be a rent-to-own kind of thing. Maybe 1,500 since it's in the middle. It's just an idea but I think it could be workable so that people aren't paying rent forever, especially if they have enough points to just make their home their own.

Upcoming Events

Trying to come up with some things to help make this place both more active and more interactive. A Valentine's Event is in the works. For the month of Janauary, I was wondering if maybe a small, maybe short, team style event would be nice. Seunghyun suggested something like the Kink Olympics but that night be saved for the spring or summer just so that proper planning can go into it. In the meantime, to help earn points for the event being planned for February, how would a scavenger hunt type game work? I've been in rps where it was done and I like the idea a lot and I've seen it work very well. It could be a good way for everyone to get more accustomed with rooms they haven't seen or used before in the club, maybe talk with those that they haven't talked to before and earn points all while doing it. It's just an idea for now but, please, let me know if anyone is interested or has any suggestions for just an event. It can be one for the future as well. Just things that you would like to see and might find fun doing.
