it is officially new year in all countries and cultures and we have prepared gifts

Without further ado, let's go down to the points and new items to be introduced!

─ ★ point one: manager salaries
for a long long while, managers in this  rp were left to their own devices, struggling to live in poverty and misery as there was no real way to pay them a point-salary. 
that is no more.

we leave les miserables in 2021 and introduce the new point system for managers to earn a weekly wage. read below carefully:

- each sunday, every manager in dsf can roll in the notice room for their weekly wage.

- no need to tag the admins when rolling, we will check and give you moneyz

- for example - you roll a 3, you receive (3) x (10x1) = 30 points, congratulations.

- there is an additional way to earn a bonus - a commission pay, if you will.

- after rolling, you can state every active thread you have had throughout the week, including the room name where the thread is, and your partner(s).

- for each active thread, you get +1 commission coefficient

- for example you have rolled a 3. you post 2 active threads.

your salary now equals (3) x (10x3) = 90 points. congratulations.

- threads can be with idols, trainees, other staff members or a mix of 2 or more of the aforementioned.

 

we are hoping this will promote activity, give the managers an incentive to talk to and bond with their prodigies and still keep the element of luck, because even if you try your damnest, sometimes luck just doesn't smile on you in real life as well.


─ ★ point two: introducing dsf actor wing
long awaited, constantly pestered for and dreadfully bemoaned - we are now opening "actor" and "model" slots in the possible jobs you can take in here.

similarly to idol trainees, actors will have "evaluation" events from time to time where they will roll for drama auditions and subsequent viewer ratings.

models will be having modelling gigs and plots.

similarly to staff faceclaim rules, we advise you to use actor or model faceclaims for actor and model roles. of course, all faceclaims of asian descent are still open and acceptable for any role.

 

─ ★ point three: vlives
with the few vlives posted already, we decided this effort deserves to be awarded, so going forward, every vlive participant will receive 20 points per stream - you can rp it with someone, you can do it solo, on your own and god-mod the viewers, you can break into others' vlives if you see them on time. all is fair ;) 

*note: if you do the vlive in another room, because this fits your thread/activity - make sure to note it down in the live stream channel room with a brief note, so admins will know and award you your points.

*note: instagram, youtube and tiktok lives also count for the same purpose, pick your media poison of choice.

 

 

─ ★ point four: faq room revamp
coming soon - the revamping of the faq room and turning it into a "basics 101" or "new dreams 101" HQ - a place where all the point systems will be added, all regulations, all tips and tricks on how to wrangle your way through the beautiful mess that is new dreams rp. we are hoping for this to happen sooner rather than later, so be patient and look out for it soon.

 

─ ★ point five: external and fan content
we've noticed some of you posting their own covers and other youtube videos, as well as anonymous posts in the fan padlet and we are LOVING IT! please post more! we love to see it and it gives the feeling of realness.

just wanted to give a shout out for that, in case anyone was wondering if it is allowed - it is very much so and beloved - we are ers for edits and videos and pics and fan content! keep it coming!
