Hello, hello, everyone! It's that time of the year, time for the Littleton Founder's Day Festival! Let's all head to the park, participate in some game, and reconnect with old friends we haven't seen in a while!
There will be lots of games to play, a bbq event to mingle with old friends, and a town dance where you might decide to take someone for a date!
You will be given a Founder's Day badge for each game you successfully complete. Any team game is worth two badges. At the end of the festival, the person with the most badges is the winner!
Below, you will find a list of games:
- Bobbing for Apples
- Roll the dice, get higher than a three to get an apple
- Tug-of-war
- Form two teams. Each person rolls the dice, and the team with the highest total wins.
- Three legged race
- Two people to a team. Your partner can be anyone you choose. Both partners roll once and the results are added together. One of you rolls a second time, and subtract that number from the total.
- Boggle
- 9 letters are randomly generated a day. Join in the room and create words from the string of letters. One point (badge) for each word, no repeat words (per day)! You can post up to 3 words a day to let everyone have a chance and to prevent spamming words. They must be in separate posts, too.
These are the games that we will be playing this time. The event will start on Wednesday, May 17 at 7am (GMT-5). That's when I will open the rooms to play the games.
The bbq dinner will be held from the 21st through the 27th, with the dance being held the last four days of the month!
Get to talking to people and find out what your connections are so you know how to interact at the dinner and stuff!
Each game will have a new day start at 8pm (GMT-5) because that's when I know I'll be able to get on and reset the day. The games will stop when the bbq starts, so we will have five days of games before the bbq event!
