Hey ho's, it's head ho #1
i finish up work in t minus.... next Friday and I'm thinking what better time then to do a v soft re-launch with some updates to rules n stuff. The most important things to note, after discussing this with Jeno, are the following:
- we'll be doing a soft relaunch, and a general tidy up cause there's lots of inactive rooms(totally fine, happens). the relaunch will likely include me updating the layouts with Christmas themed images but that's about it.
- revamp will include a very casual Christmas event, Jeno and I are thinking a cocktail party with black tie fashion or smth along the lines of that. Very low activity, very casual, easy for platonic, romantic, ual and antagonistic threads.
- VERY IMPORTANT: we're going to be, more or less, removing the activity rule, especially considering it's mid December and with January coming up, things are only going to get more insane. This may include turning on points in ooc cause, frankly, neither of us care about post or thread count. You guys are adults, you can hold yourselves accountable for being active, and if you need to take a brain break for two weeks, that's your prerogative. We're probably going to leave it at 'no activity for one month = removed and greylisted as per rules now".
- LESS IMPORTANT BUT STILL KINDA IMPORTANT: events will remain permanently open. Event threads take ages, I'm still doing my Halloween threads a month later. I'll be getting rid of the 'you can't start new threads' rule cause why tf not! Have some fun! I don't want people to feel limited cause who knows, one day you might be hit with some insane muse for being a bunny hybrid or a mermaid. the way it'll work going forward is that the dates set for an event will be the 'canon' timeline, regardless of how long it takes you to finish up. Hopefully that makes sense?
example: Christmas party will last December 24th 2023 to December 26th 2023 canonically, however my thread with.... Yoojung may still be active well into February or March irl, but what we write is still with that 24/12/23-26/12/23 timeframe.

im sorry for being mia, my attention did wander, i will admit, and i work in a very busy industry around christmas time which did not help but im getting back into it. Alsokeepaneyeoitforanupcmingrpadmaybeintwoweeks
