Greetings Witches and Wizards,

After one week since its grand opening, Nimbus has been featured! We appreciate every one of you for contributing to the lore of Nimbus and crafting characters that will set the stage for the journey ahead of us. With that said, we want to address some reminders:

If you have yet to finish your profiles, please get it done as soon as you can (with a deadline of 3 days from the posting of this announcement). Profiles are necessary so that other writers can reach out and make connections. We do not expect them to be super detailed, nor do we expect grand events to have made their marks on your character’s history either. Your application, plus a few additional details, will be sufficeable as a temporary profile. If you would like your application to be sent to you via pm, simply tag the admin at the help desk. Failure to have a profile up after the deadline can result in removal from the roleplay. We want you to stay so please get this done.

As Nimbus holds itself as the ‘unwritten’ from the Harry Potter lore, all characters, whether major/minor characters and even death eaters, are not canon to Nimbus. This is to create a new direction that will allow for creative freedom and for writers to explore a narrative of the uncharted wizarding world. As you build your characters please remember that flaws create intrigue. Not every character has to be a hero, and Nimbus certainly welcomes diversity in backgrounds and personalities that can further enrich each other’s lore.

For future character reservations, the admins are placing a 48-hour reservation hold with a 24-hour extension. If you need more time or if you were unable to apply within this time window please feel free to reserve again.

Lastly, we have some exciting events planned for the upcoming weeks, including a convention for all witches and wizards which can lead to interactions and further thickening of the plot. Stay tuned for more details to come.
