ello Novis Fam! First, we’d like to welcome all the new and recent additions to our family and welcome our returning members as we get active again. As always, we thank you for choosing to join our family and we truly hope you enjoy your time with us. We’d also like to thank those who participated in our summer event, Novipalooza 2024. We hope to see even more participation next year! Event badges will roll out along with the new layout. If you happened to miss that event or simply didn’t participate, no worries because we have another event coming up! But first, we have some general housekeeping to attend to.

We’d like to kindly remind everyone that explicit topics as well as mature content are not allowed in the ooc chat room. Aside from the fact that the chat isn’t rated, it simply may make some people uncomfortable and we never want that. In the same vein, while we don’t expect everyone to get along and be the best of friends, we DO expect you to treat each other with a common level of respect and civility. If there are any issues, if you feel uncomfortable in any way, or feel like someone is being passive-aggressive or otherwise targeting you, we urge you to speak up. It can be as simple as using the safephrase stardust, or reaching out to a member of the admin team with examples of the issue, as we are human and do not always catch everything even when present.

On that note, we’d like to also make sure everyone is aware of who is on the admin team. It’s preferred for all admin-related inquiries and concerns to go to an admin character, but we understand that often not knowing who is behind them can also sometimes cause unease.

Currently, the admin consists of babyqueen, preciosa, popcornyhx, and danphelios. You may reach out to any of them should you have any issues.

We’d also like to alert everyone of some minor changes to the roleplay. We are now a mostly self-paced roleplay, as such, inactivity has been increased to 21 days. Only events and promotion periods will have a time limit. We acknowledge that activity can be difficult at times with outside commitments that should always take priority, so we hope that these changes will help ease any activity-related stress anyone may have.

On the note of activity, we encourage you all to utilize the ic chat as a way to gain connections with others without having to fully plot things out. The chat is used as a massive group chat. However, if enough people want a room more similar to what you’d see in a nonau main chat, we will make one for ease of rping. Also we’d like to remind everyone that you can (and should) do work related plots at any time, you do NOT have to wait for a promotion period announcement to begin. This is to ensure we are not focusing too heavily on romantic/relationship based plots.

Now on to the fun stuff! It’s officially time for our annual winter event!! Frost Fest 2024! Similar to the summer event, we will have rooms open under the event tab where people can interact and roleplay. In addition, each group will be expected to do a Christmas-themed live for the fans. Soloists, Actors, and Models may do them individually or collab if they wish. A few examples of content for the lives are wearing Christmas-themed pajamas or outfits, decorating cakes or making/decorating gingerbread houses, covering Christmas songs, cooking and eating, doing a Q&A, or a combination of any of these. Of course, you are not limited to only these ideas.

We will also be doing a Secret Santa! A new layout is in the works that will be put on your profile, along with your gift and message. As a side note, you may send a gift to another character at any time you’d like, either signed or anonymously, by sending it to Dispatch. You will 3 days from this announcement to signup, with 1 week to find and send in your gift to the Santa character that will be around for the duration of the event.

Finally, the event will conclude with a New Year's Concert showcase where all artists and trainees are expected to perform. As with Novipalooza, all trainees and non-idols who wish to perform MUST do so with an SDZ dancer or choreographer. If you are a non-idol or not a trainee, please make sure you have the talent for your performance, and remember that you can always add new skills and talents through the cosmic shards room.

With consideration for possible ooc holiday plans, this event will tentatively run until the end of January to allow for adequate time for threads and participation. However, if we notice a significant dwindle in activity earlier, then we will end it sooner. We will allow an additional week from the end of the event if needed to wrap up any room-specific threads before closing them.

•.*★ important。 While ic participation will be canon for everyone, active ooc participation in the event is optional. However, remember that doing so will gain you shards and a badge, which will help you rise in the ranks and take you a step closer to a comeback or debut.
