Update: Fighting with Monsters

This announcement pertains to the announcement we created approximately a day ago to address the monster fighting situation. After some discussion, the admins and I have come to a consensus.

if you are roleplaying alone and successfully make a kill, points will be awarded to you based on the quality of your fight. Quality refers to how well the fight is played out, whether there is a balance (or at least some sort of balance) to the fight etc. We do not base it [largely] on the quality of your writing but rather the content of it. We are also not looking for quality so if you are splitting posts with the bare minimum amount of words into each, points will de deducted instead of awarded. Try to hit the 200 word count for each post if you want to split your posts. Or at least 150. Or don't split it. It doesn't make much of a difference anyway. 

If you are roleplaying with somebody else and the two of you manage to make a kill, the fight will be evaluated as a whole and this is when we take the number of posts per side into account. We understand that roleplaying with somebody requires more effort so we will award more points for this. Once again, it will be judged by the your respective GM's based on quality. 

In the event that you do not complete the fight/failed to make a kill/partner did not reply, points will still be given to you but they are more of a token of appreciation for your effort instead of a reward and hence the amount of points will be lesser.

We will be going along with this plan until more of you gain skill points/progress in levels so that we have more roleplayers that have the means to tabletop roleplay. This is to ease you guys into the roleplay and allow you all to earn points to level up/buy skill points because yes I'm aware that they all cost quite a lot. Hence, take advantage of the system now and go earn your points, guys.

Here are the GM's you will report to for your respective races:
-Spriggans, Leprechauns and Imps to Aleyna
-Salamanders, Pucas and Cait Siths to Heenim
- Undines, Sylphs and Gnomes to Ryan

This is unrelated to fighting with monsters but I have received questions related to roleplaying in the real world. The admins and I have actually contemplated adding rooms in the real world before this roleplay opened but we concluded that it will be confusing, what with the diversity of the face claims that we are allowing, and hence the rooms are how you see it now. However, you can make use of your walls to roleplay out your relationships in the real world etc if needed. There are no restrictions against that as of yet. 

If you guys have any more questions, direct them to your assigned Gamemasters. We will probably set up an FAQ page in the future to answer any recurring queries but all of us are quite busy. We appreciate your patience in putting up with us and all the changes as this is a budding roleplay and quite complicated.
