It almost seems too soon to be adding our Secret Santa Event to the mix, but alas it's already halfway through December! This will more likely than not be the only type of Winter celebration you'll see from our role play. Reason being we know that everyone comes from different parts of the world and celebrates many different religions, holidays etc. Therefor we wouldn't want to single any one group out or take away from others by not having a theme geared towards their holiday season- hence the simple title of 'Happy Holidays'.
There may or may not be another event later on with a holiday theme in it, but it will be very general and stick to this 'Happy Holidays' motif. So without any more delay The Dome Role Play happily presents to you our Secret Santa Event! For this Event each person who decides to participate will be assigned a person in secret whom they are supposed to come up with a gift for.
A Secret Santa room has been added to the list of rooms, and in it you will see a letter addressed from The Dome's Creators to everyone inside. For those of you who wish to participate in the Secret Santa event you will leave your character's response to the letter in the room, this way whoever gets assigned to you will have a feel for what your take on the whole thing is. It sounds a bit confusing right now, but just go check out the room and you'll understand!
Role players have until December, 22nd, 2013 to make a post in the Secret Santa room so that we can sort through the entries and message everyone who they'll be gifting to. Rules explaining what the gifts should be, how to submit them and all that will be available once we reach that stage, we don't want to confuse anyone too much!

You're a fantastic group of people and it has been a pleasure getting to know so many of you and role playing with different variations of people. YOUR PARTICIPATION IS NOT REQUIRED! THIS IS NOT A MANDATORY EVENT!
I know that in the letter addressed to everyone it says that eveyone is expected to participate, but that is directed to those who will actually be doing the event. Meaning it's part of the plot, your character should have some kind of reaction to the fact that they must take place in this. But YOU don't have to do the event, we don't want people feeling forced to do something like this.
