[ Do note, I'm going through everything. I'm trying to avoid the confusion and rule-breaking we usually get during the Blood Baths, because its hectic for both admins and tributes ]
Every game begins at the Cornucopia with the most horrid battle of them all, when all the tributes are gathered together in one place...
The Blood Bath.
At the Blood Bath, any tribute can achieve up to two items for themselves. The common choice is to take one weapon and one backpack, however you can choose any sort of arrangement to fit your character ( two weapons, no backpacks; no weapons, two backpacks; only taking one item ).
Items (the weapons and backpacks) at the Blood Bath are not just there for the taking. They must first be achieved by the corresponding post amounts. The most valuable items are worth more posts and are closer to the cornucopia than other items.
For example, a white backpack is very far from the cornucopia and all you need to achieve it is 4 posts.
Do keep in mind that all posts must meet the regular rule requirements at this roleplay, which are
* 70 Words +
* No God-Moding
* Realistic
* No Lone OOC Post
Those requirements fit fully into getting yourself a backpack.
However if you want a weapon, a different kind of post is required for the post to count towards the weapon. These are called Legal Weapon Posts (LWP).
All of the normal requirements are still in tact, but one additional requirement is added.
For the post to count, injury infliction must be present in the post.
There are two ways to go about this.
One, Attempt to injure your opponent (no, it doesn't /have/ to actually make a hit)
Two, Injure yourself (I don't mean beat yourself up for no reason. But dodging attacks can cause self-injury. Or clumsyness, can lead to self-injury [tripping, etc])
Because of uneven numbers of tributes that participate and timezones, we allow tributes to fight against an imaginary tribute in the Blood Bath, and only during the Blood Bath (not in the areas of the arena).
What this means is that you are heading for a weapon but have no one to battle, thus you roleplay another character alongside your own in which you battle for the weapon.
However do keep in mind it is not incouraged to fight against imagiary tributes. There are tons of people always looking for someone to fight, so please, try to find someone before you choose this options. This should not become the easy-way-out option.
Further more, fights do not have to be one-on-one. Try five-on-one, everyone for themselves. Think about it, lets say there is one trident left on the battle field, and in the arena that is the most powerful weapon a tribute could lay his/her hands on. And you either want that weapon or don't want them to have it. You fight them for it. It doesn't happen often, but if a tribute gets his/her weapon taken away during the Blood Bath, they can go for another weapon, but their LWP starts over.
This is called the Blood Bath for a reason. So blood must be spilt.
After you've achieved the correct number of posts or LWP for your item, you will be granted the item by the admin or Gamemaker which is overseeing the Blood Bath. You cannot touch or take your item until you have been notified that you have achieved the item. This is because sometimes, especially with LWP, you may miscount your posts and have not actually achieved the correct posts yet.
Their are only certain amounts of each backpack and weapon available. So once that runs out you may have to change to another weapon or attempt take it for yourself (which good luck with that, because after fighting tooth and nail for a good weapon or backpack, I doubt anyone is going to let things be stolen from them, js). All of this is kept track of in the Cornucopia room, and the oversee-er may occasionally point out that a certain item is 'out-of-stock'.
Due to admin and Gamemaker availability, the Blood Bath will go through 'pauses/freezes'.
No one can roleplay in the Cornucopia unsupervised by an admin or Gamemaker. You must wait for us to 'unfreeze' the Blood Bath before you can continue posting for your items.
Also, the Blood Bath is held open for at least half the game, so you have plenty of time to finish it if you have a busy schedule or join the game late. If later on, your schedule seems to conflict with nearly all of the admins or Gamemakers, personally message us so that we can set-up a time that accomondates you.
After one is finished in the Cornucopia, they can proceed to the first area of the arena, which is the first room underneath the Cornucopia page. After leaving the Cornucopia, you are done with the Blood Bath, and may not return.
Traveling in the arena.
The areas of the arena are set up by their proximity to eachoter.
In order to travel from the first one to the third, you must pass through the second area, with your entrance+exit post.
In the arena.
Fighting is obvious. But you can also choose to make your alliances and friends here, and your enemies. Take a moment to chat and get a foothold on reality after the blood bath. But beware, someones always watching... and waiting to kill you.
The wishlist.
You can make wishes for food, water, clothes, blankets, medicine, etc. in the wishlist. When someone has sponsored you or you have been chosen by the automatic-sponsor, an admin or gamemaker will deliver your gifts to you. Even if you have been sponsored, you do not recieve your gifts until it has been delivered to you manually by an admin or gamemaker.
