Hello, this is admins Kai and Sehun speaking. It's been quite an amount of time since our admins have put up an announcement so an update would be in the right place. Firstly, instead of addressing the matters going on regarding the roleplay, I'd like to thank each and every one of you who made the featuring of the boyfriend factory on the main page possible. There have been moments I have wanted to close this roleplay because of minor or major events happening here, but with this little step forward it made me realize I only want to make this place a more enjoyable and eventful locality of roleplay republic. However, this could never have happened without any of you guys' support. We admins are therefore thankful to have experienced this whilst watching the growth of the members and overall appreciation for the roleplay. Now, moving on to the points we should address in this announcement. There will be no specific fonts because we want you to read everything thoroughly. Please comment after you have read this announcement.

#1 INFINITE BUYING
A lot of people have noticed the infinity sign behind a certain amount of dolls' biography, making them and their partner bound to be together forever. This however, means people who already own a machine permanently are prohibited from participating in the lottery from now on. If you already have your boyfriend why would you want points? You're unable to purchase a secondary machine anyway, so we admins would kindly like to ask these buyers not to take part in the daily lottery anymore, this causing the updating to become both easier and quicker. Infinite buying is only possible after role playing three consecutive weeks with the machine you’re currently owning at the time, paired with admin Kai’s permission. Another significant factor is the machine:buyer ratio in the roleplay. Please do not argue with us in case infinite purchases are not possible, we kindly ask you to wait and continue roleplaying, as it might be available again later on. For now though, we are limiting the infinite purchases.

#2 CONTRACTS 
Contracts are to be extended either before the contract ends or on the end date. Meaning the day after the catalog has been updated (with the expired date of your contract removed), customers cannot purchase the machine again. I will not argue with customers who want to extend their contracts two or three days after it has ended. In case of renewment, customers are required to mention their machine's name or number in their post, as well as the fact that its either their 2nd or 3rd week. A quick reminder that you are not allowed to extend your contract without the right amount of points to do so. To inform or refresh you guys' memory on the system, I have copied the list below. Points are deducted at the end of the week and you will always get notified whenever we deduct them.

350 points for one week
1050 points for the second week
2800 points for the third week

#3 HIATUSES
Permanent hiatuses do occur more often than not, and while we do one-hundred percent agree to the fact that we have lives outside roleplay republic, us admins are not in favor of people hogging characters and making use of a permanent hiatus to do so. This is why full hiatuses will be limited to a month and semi-hiatuses to not longer than 3 months. Please keep in mind that semi-hiatus means activeness at least once a week, even if it’s just a simple ‘’Hello’’ in the OOC room. People who are on semi-hiatus are allowed to have the inactive sign showing up twice, in case of a third you will be removed from the role play. People on a full hiatus will get a reminder to become active again after a month, failure to remove the sign or ignoring this warning will also result in removal. Permanent hiatuses and semi-hiatuses can be extended in discussion with head admin Kai.

#4 LOTTERY AND POINTS
Only buyers are privileged to participate in the lottery once a day, read through all the rules to avoid any mishappenings. Please take note that once you reach 10,000 points you will not be given more points, even if you participate in the lottery. This is due to the fact that we want to encourage role playing. Some people stay active solely through participation in the lottery, but this is not the purpose of this roleplay. We’d rather have you active through interacting with other people than spending your time rolling a dice. People who are on a definite hiatus are also prohibited from participating in the lottery, as stated above we don’t want people to make use of their situation just to gain points.

#5 REMINDERS 
The first weeks into this role play the admins have created the factory event for the dolls, refraining them from becoming inactive as well as entertained whilst being ownerless. This means that whenever the factory’s ‘’testing’’ ends for a machine due to a purchase, you are eligible to apply for the event again once the contract with your buyer expires. In other words, you can participate as many times as you’d like. The only condition given is being ownerless.

Machines, you may only roleplay when you are purchased. The admins are more tolerant with dolls getting an inactive sign, however we prefer you to stay active through your own efforts and not our reminders. Some buyers are not sure who to purchase, as it is not clear if you are active or not, which is why we encourage you to actively search for possible buyers either via the OOC room or wall posts.

Customers must remember to not roleplay with inactivated dolls. If a doll has an owner you can roleplay with the doll via wall posts or even in the rooms (machines may roleplay at 2 rooms at the same time maximum). Once the doll is ownerless he will be shipped back to the factory, causing him to be INACTIVE. He will be unable to move, think or talk with anyone but the testers at the factory. Remember that we admins do not know about the machine’s real life status, so we encourage customers to wall post or pm a doll beforehand to find out if he/she is available to roleplay or not. It saves you from frustrations of waiting for a doll’s reply, not knowing if he is actually active or not. Some roleplayers forget to notify the admins about their hiatus, after all.

Sometimes us admins (or maybe it’s just Sehun) come off as grumpy when we reply to your inquiring. This is because we are trying our best to keep this roleplay active whilst handling our real lives. We do not mean to offend you, but many of your questions can be answered through the announcements and rules themselves.
