FAQ/CLARIFICATIONS
What year is it?
It is the current year 2014, although the perfect utopia order started being created in the 90s, it was only put into place in the year 2010. Your character could have been in a normal asylum before that, in prison, or even a 'normal' person on the street.
Are relationships allowed?
Yes, all relationships are allowed. However, some relationships are more accepted than others.
Worker x Worker - Very okay. No one will judge you or your partner for being in a relationship as long as it doesn't interfere with your job. In fact, the government encourages it, so go right ahead, after all for a perfect society, the lineage much stay perfect. A straight relationship, is more accepted by society unfortunately than a homoual one, but no one is stopping you, do as you please. Because perfect love is perfect love. *Note- Bedrooms can be arranged to for two workers to be together.
Flawed x Flawed - Frowned upon and discouraged. The flawed are here to become perfect, not to fall in love, therefore their relationships can be seen as a distraction for both partners. Although most workers will try their best to talk them out of it, and maybe even put some punishments in place, in the end they can't necessarily stop the two from being together. However, intermixing between floors ( those on floor two, three, and four ) is considered very dangerous and thus it would be nearly impossible for the two to meet up, unless one acted up in order to be moved up the floors, or one got moved down the floors through good behavior - though sneaking out at night is always a possibility -.
Worker x Flawed - Taboo. Banned. Workers are here to help the flawed, and so it is imperative that they do not engage in any ual or romantic relationships with the flawed. Even if the flawed becomes perfect, they were still once flawed, and so the lineage wouldn't be perfect and pure. If a worker and flawed were to be in a relationship, it would have to be kept secret, only between those two, as the flawed can get punished very harshly, and the worker can be fired, killed, or even thrown into an asylum. Remember, no one must know, or else there will be consequences for both.
Can a Worker and a Flawed have ?
Yes, they can. It might even occur often, a worker having with one of the flawed as mutual thing, for the worker to get some pleasing, and the flawed to get some perks. However, it could also be forced, remember if it is forced, make sure that your roleplay partner is fine with it beforehand.
Is pregnancy allowed?
No pregnancy of any kind is allowed. M-preg, Hetero Pregnancy, or Yuri Pregnancy. None of it is allowed. This is an angst, asylum roleplay, and it would be highly out of place for there to be kids running out, right? Adoptions aren't even allowed. However, if your character has a kid back in the main city/society, that is fine, they just can't be here.
Is marriage allowed?
The only type of marriage allowed is that of Worker x Worker. Even then, please do tell the main admin [ Yixing ] beforehand. If your character is Flawed and was married before, that is perfectly fine. Promises of marriage one day can be made between Flawed x Flawed and Worker x Flawed. But no actual marriage between them, only Worker x Worker.
How are the Flawed split into dorms?
The dorm section of the asylum is split into three different floors: floor two, floor three, and floor four. Floor two holds the least dangerous patients, floor three holds the moderately dangerous patients, and floor four holds the very dangerous patients. On floor two, there are four flawed to a room. On floor three, there are three to a room. On floor four, there are two to a room.
Can a Flawed have more than one disorder?
Yes, they can have more than one. I.E.: Anorexia and depression.
Can a Flawed ever become perfect?
Yes, a Flawed can become perfect. If this happens, they can leave the asylum and go out into society, or can come back as a worker. If they leave the asylum, your character would be deactivated, and you would reapply as someone completely new, you can use the same face, or choose another one. Everyone you roleplayed with would forget your name and face, but remember that you existed. If your character decided to become a worker, you would come to the main admin [ Yixing ] and ask to be one of the workers. In this case, everyone you roleplayed with would remember you.
How do I apply?
If applying at the very moment, you comment the application provided at the bottom of the rules page. Wait for an admin to give you approval and add your character, then apply with a writing sample.
If reserving, you ask for your reservation [ lasts for three days, but you can ask for an extension ], and once ready for your character, comment the application provided at the bottom of the rules page. Wait for an admin to give approval, then apply with the writing sample.
If you read this, add the word 'apples' to your application [ the commented one ] somewhere.
