When things pull you apart and pull you back together, stand still and be silent. Nothing is more powerful than silence. It's a vacuum. It everything out: positivity, negativity…you. It’s an understanding mistress who waits and when you come to her, she would be smiling and would welcome you with open arms. She would whisper sweet nothings, or nothings, or nothingness. She is the strongest, and you are the weakest but that’s okay because you’re supposed to melt into her and make her possess you. She would fill you and you would feel her and inside you’re strong, too.
When things push you away and push you wherever, stand still and be silent. Silence is gravity’s sister. She would straddle your lap and would croon the moon’s sonata or would whisper the poem of someone forgotten like herself. She would tell you that she is refuge, she is strength and you would break down because tear-stained cheeks are more realistic battle scars than cuts on your wrists and bruises on your arms.
