Today was such a bittersweet day.
It was my birthday and i for once had a lot of fun. My ultimate bias just announced he is going to get married and I was so proud and hella excited for the fandom to turn into sisters and brothers in law and even uncles and aunties.
But my high was pulled back in by the devastating news of Jonghyun’s death. I had been a shawol for a good part of my Kpop life and though not so much anymore, I always knew SHINee would forever hold a special place in my heart. Having someone from the group I once loved dearly gone is surreal, almost as if i want it to be a lie. But it’s very much real.
My only hope now is that he is happy wherever he is; Heaven is surely going to be glad an angel is back in their arms, safe and sound. I hope he doesn’t hurt wherever he is. And I pray that if he is reborn, he would be an ordinary boy, one who lives his life to the fullest.
Rest In Peace, Kim Jonghyun. You will be fervently missed.
