Replies rant?

This isn't a directed message at anyone, it's just a general statement because bruh:

Idk how old the people I rp with are, but the older bunches like me are busy and tired from school and work and life and rping is priority number error 404 not found on a gigantic list of things to do.

Sometimes people forget this is a recreational site and that replies are not obligations that we need to be hounded over. Don't be poking people okay, ask if they're still interested in writing together if it's been an acceptable amount of time and accept it without gettin' all passive aggressive upset if they say no BECUASE JUST SO YOU ALL KNOW not all rps are interesting -- especially when the other party hardly does anything to move the scene along or the characters/responses are sooooo dull. Even if it's not a conscious decision (because honestly a month can go by and I'll think it's only been 2 days still I got a reply whoops) , u gon be dropped.

Not all rpers click. It's just a preference! I like long replies, with a lot of emotional or character personality and thought in them nowadays. Something that keeps me smiling or on the edge of your seat to see how the other character reacts.

When people poke though, I just lose all desire to reply and forget about it on purpose.
Not a serious story but: I remember when someone poked me and I was like ?? didn't I just write a reply. Check the time and they sent me a reply fifteen minutes prior. Fifteen minutes. That was enough time to poke XD

Anyway, I can't promise I'll get to all of my replies esp if they're months old, but I do try when I have down-time and motivation. Sometimes I open a new reply while half asleep, squinting at my phone in the dark and just forget about it when I wake up.

These days I like writing long replies, slow quality pretty much. No need for super timely responses, we're all busy human beings. This post is a mess it's a word dump ; u ;
