obviously this has nothing to do with anyone or whatever

a lot of the time, most people that join roleplays are mlm (nothing wrong with that obvs). for me, it's a rarity to see straight males in roleplays. now, i know that could be frustrating for wlm, but ignoring the existence of pan and bi men never sat well with me. i, personally, didn't like when i co-admined a place and the girls would beg for straight guys to join, but there were PLENTY of single pan/bi men there (i could name five off the top of my head right now a year later, myself included) they completely disregarded them if they flirted with guys. i pointed out that they obviously just needed to get to know the people there first, but apparently they didn't want to get to know people. this was on facebook so you even have the option to openly display your orientation on your profile OR even place it on a document that everyone was able to see, but that didn't help. it kind of just rubbed me the wrong way that they'd openly ignore bi/pan guys on purpose like that. idk.

also, i think rpr should put an orientation drop option on character profiles, that'd be soooooo much easier

Agrede. I play my characters mostly pan because they just like what they like Haha. But what I've found difficult to play are my demiual characters. People stray from them 100% once they see there needs to be work put into the relationship. Even as friendship. So I stray from them....

Straight men DEF aren't dead, they just aren't--- ah. Most of the ones I've met are a little more chill, not as outward about it. I guess because they feel no need to be.

I've learned a TON of bi/pan men tend to veer more towards other males, but I've also been surprised! I personally never found a need for an orientation list unless it's a matchmaking or AU. Any sort of rp where and love are expected to happen. In a casual rp it just--- idk, to me it just promotes face chasing. Like, instead of getting to KNOW every guy to find out what he prefers and test the waters to see if you could be that "exception", everyone would just flock to anyone they'd have a chance with.

Personally, unless someone's exclusively in it for a relationship, I think it'd be more fun to just n OT know for sure! ;u; Could it be a waste of time? Maybe. Could you make a ton of friends out of it? Hell yEAH.

But yeah, you're right. There's a plight with bi/pan guys (though nothing holds a candle to what lesbians here have to deal with orz)!!!

In my rps, i used to put an orientation list up so people could see it so stuff like this didn't happen.

Well the thing is,,, usually these bi/pan guys have a STRONG preference towards other males because ooc many of the people on this site are females so it’s kind of natural
And also I don’t think a lot of these guys are being ignored,, people don’t just pay attention to uality, there is also a lot of other factors such as personality, the faceclaim and activity
And also those boys get scared of the females being really desperate and thirsty so that’s why you may see less straight
But straights aren’t dead SKDBSBD
We love bi/pan guys!
And the orientation thing is a really good idea!
