Okay so, basically what I'm writing about here is things in rps that i've seen that kind of needs to be addressed. A little disclaimer before I began, this is at no rp in general, I don't really care what anyone does, I just want these things to be addressed for people who might be uncomfortable with this and so that everyone gets equal opportunity because it we can't practice what we preach then why preach. Anyways, with that being said, this blog ain't meant to slander no one or nothing, I just felt these things need to be addressed and again, you do not have to take what I'm saying into consideration, but I just want the best for everyone so that everyone can have fun.
First order of business, I see that in most roleplays there are a lot of gay men. Which is fine, we stan the gays. But I think it might be a little unfair to the girls who aren't lesbian/bi/pan that there are no boys to you know talk to or get into a relationship with because they're all gay. Do what you what, as an LGBT woman, I love that us gays have a place to get some action, but we should be equal opportunity for the heterouals too. I understand that we all have a preference and I feel that 100%, I understand. I just want heterouals to have a fair shot at being a heteroual. Which leads me to my next point.
Roleplays are not all about relationships, you don't HAVE to be in a relationship, it's not detrimental to you health that you're in a relationship in every roleplay that you're in, it's okay to be single. Don't join roleplays to hop on the first / that you see. Make friends, put yourself out there and get comfortable with people and if you find someone that you know you like, go for that relationship, but don't force them to be in a relationship with you if they don't want to, that kind of defeats the purpose. Long story short, find some friends and then worry about a relationship when you've been there for a while.
Next up, Minors in roleplays. Now it doesn't happen often, thankfully, and that i'm glad for. But we kind of have to brush over the topic of minor ualization because it's a little uncomfortable for people. Don't put minors in roleplays until you're sure that they're the legal age in their respective country. The legal age of Korea is 19 years old and with their year difference most people would prefer that you waited until they were actually 19 years old to ualize them, I'm one of those people, but I won't criticize people for that just know that if you put someone in a roleplay and they're under the legal age, that's considered ography.
I think this is the last point that I'm going to make tonight and I haven't seen this, but I still wanna brush on it real quick for the lolz. Okay, so please don't leave anyone out of anything. I get it that sometimes people get annoying or boring after a while and it gets a little tiring trying to be the one who brings the hype all the time, but please don't leave anyone out and make them feel like they don't belong. We all want friends, we all wanna be seen, we all want attention but please don't make people feel like they are invalid because that only makes them feel like they don't want to be in the roleplay and that also kind of defeats the purpose. So please, don't leave anyone out of a roleplay.
So, I think that's about it and this is very very long, i'm sure it'll be exhausting to read, but if you made it to here then I want to restate my disclaimer from the top, this is not at anyone's roleplay, this isn't me slandering anyone or calling anyone out, it's just a few things that I've witnessed myself or experienced myself. So thank you, for reading this, now once again, you don't have to change who you are or your preference or anything at all, I just think that these things are what creates an equal opportunity environment and I want to see everyone happy and healthy.
thanks again for reading,
xoxo calliope.
