normally i title these kinds of blogs "coming soon to rpr" or some , but eh. we different today.

was about to go eat and then take a nap, but then i realized i said i'd do this hours ago and got distracted from it rip.

so what the hell am i here for? what dumb blog have you decided to present to me today?

savory rpr citizen, i am here to unofficially offically announce that i am committing to the promise i made a year ago now that i will be making a certain rp i've been somewhat sleeping on. "which one, ya thot?" you may ask. this isn't news to some of you, but i'm here to finally come out and say that it is the one, the only!!

...not mermaid rp, but definitely involves people born in the ocean and coming onto land to freak land people out and up everything(?) they know and love.

to long story short my long story short, half of us will technically be part fish, while the other half is just like any other human.

i'll explain in more detail closer to opening time* but for now, all you need to know is they have a protective layer of skin that helps them breathe underwater. they are human in most every other way outside of that though. like i you not— there are no flippers and gills in this . just a twilight like layer of skin that shimmers and shines in the sun, and if you go without being in salt water for too long, that cracks off and you can't breathe underwater anymore.

that's because i originally got the idea from an anime.
*insert gasps and people already clicking out bc they don't actually care for those rps (@yall who let atla rps flop. idc if it's not anime or whatever. stop letting these flop.)*

the anime is called nagi no asukara and not many actually know about it/have watched it. ngl it's boring if you're not into kids who fall in love and in love dodecahedrons. tbh even if you are, you still might find it boring (ig i did, but i tried to finish it like 4 times and still resulted in reading the incompleted wikis). reason i watched it was for the politcal and cultural tension between sea people and land people. and i hope to play on this a little bit of a lot in the rp. not only this, but i added in some greek myth for all you greek myth thots that eat that up. figured out a way to make all this work to some degree with the help of... several individuals, but more recently my hubs (killerchrome) and whatever is sagittarius's new username (it's a color but idk how to spell rn) but that cutie yes.

last i actually sat down and cranked out for it was last jan, and then i've been doing little things hither and thither. the only things i still need to do rn is maybe(?) make new layouts, update the information and write out a description, gather one or two people to help me get that done, run through everything to make sure the rp is good to go, and prepare the teasers... i believe that's it, yes. if there are kind souls out there that aren't too busy and aren't afraid to spend time actually getting done, please fill this out for now. i'm seeking people for part time and full time , and that's a revised version of the official admin app i'll be using later.
