happy belated new years everyone!!
i’m abroad still but i’ll be back soon. wifi has been hard to come by and muse even harder, i can only imagine what my muse will be like when paired with jetlag and working full time again (the pay is kinda worth it).
2019 closed a lot of chapters for me and opened a lot of new chapters. some chapters are dogeared for another time: that’s how life is. i feel pretty satisfied with the person i’ve become but i’m hungry for new opportunities, new projects, and new ventures.
as i grow up, i think i see myself breaking away from my predestined path in psych/hr to actually... try art? maybe? or as a side gig? are there any visual artists or trade artists who can share their experience about what it’s like to work in the field? i am curious what it’s like for people whether you work alone or work for a company and what different ways you use your art (consulting, shops, advertising, side jobs). what are some pitfalls? some exercises you use to keep your art up? i’m all ears for anything and everything you’re willing to give, even if you currently arent in the field (like, if you used to be OR if you know someone who is in the field currently).
and i start 2020 with 2020 vision. lasik went better than expected, and my vision is better than 6/6 dhfjfj yall do understand how LIBERATING it feels.
