Do wrist tattoos hurt? And I really want a Love yourself tattoo since I am plus size and it's taken me till the last two years to be ok with myself. But I also want a heart with it and I like the BTS hearts but I know ppl will just assume it's a bts reference with that

it does depend on the tattoo size and line.
mine is "massive" colored for the wrist, but only hurt when it hit the veins and tendon, but wasn't a kind of pain that will make you scream.

Tattoos in bonier areas tend to hurt a bit more than somewhere like your thigh! Though if you have a good distraction and aren't afraid of needles you should be fine!

I went through a 5 hour tattoo job just fine because I brought a book to read to distract myself and played music on my phone

Something small on your wrist wouldnt take that long, but maybe bring a friend to talk to you?

hi hi,
the wrist is a delicate spot, so it might be a bit more sensitive. i have one on my wrist and wristbone and i didn't think it hurt more than any other spots. but i heard others saying that it's painful. it's really different from person to person.
sounds really beautiful though, the motive and meaning behind it! and it's going to be somewhat painful wherever you decide to place it. just do your research and it should be fine :)

It depends. My forearm hurted a lot more

It depends on your pain tolerance. My tattoo is right over my wrist bone and didn't hurt at all- you can't really go by anyone else's opinion on the pain of a tattoo. None of mine hurt a single bit but I have friends with tattoos in the same places that cried because of the pain.
