Excuse my ty writing
I've seen a lot of people using these words to mean the same thing but they're different
We all know dominant and submissive
But lets look at Top and Bottom
These words started off as exclusive to ual encounters between two men, with the top being the one penetrating the bottom
To make it more inclusive, a top now means the giver and the bottom is the receiver
So in lesbian relationships, if one girl prefers to touching the other over being touched themselves, they'd be the top, while if one prefers to be touched over touching, they'd be the bottom
Also top and bottom don't relate to physical position
If you're physically on top but bouncing on your partners , you're still the bottom
As such, you can get Dom bottoms, sub tops, etc
Saying you're a bottom doesn't automatically mean your submissive
Also if your fine with both topping and bottomming, it's best to say your versatile rather than a switch
Switch is easy to confuse with the Dom/sub/switch way of labelling while versatile is pretty much strictly for top/bottom/versatile
