as a beginner coder like you, i started off my journey with the simple: invisible scrolls
of course i had help from someone and i just kinda c+p the example into my coding test rp LMAO here >> https://www.roleplayrepublic.com/roleplay/view_desc/28148

aside from that, i had help from a few guides on aff on how to do coding (which led me to learn borders as you see right under invisible scrolls)
from there it's just kinda some testing, feeling the water, asking around for help and opinions, etc
anyway, for me, i just make an rp to house all my tests and try out theories and such :'D this probs helped nothing at all but if you ever have questions, i'll try to answer X'D

Are you talking about RPR coding or full fledged html coding? RPR is surprisingly limited (but a good starting point)!

Live HTML coding usually helps esp from clicking back and forth from coding and viewing what your coding. It's a split screen program online, one side you put in code and on the other side is what you can visually see. Hope this helps!

a bit of a warning: if you finish your code on a live html code program, copy the code and paste into a blog or something on RPR and make sure there are no flaws. Sometimes your code will look perfect in the LIVE html program but slightly wonky on rpr. Nothing major, just small adjustments here and there, but definitely worth it!
