The Nocturne
There's a tale of a dark ship with tattered sails that has roamed the seas for over a century, it's crew never ageing, never changing, and never dying. It is said that the Captain of this ship, the Pirate King, is a cruel and sadistic torturing to all those within his path.
A lot of this is true. The Nocturne is a ship with a crew of mostly vampires and a few other beings that found themselves aboard the ship. Unfortunately, these vampires need food, and as such they keep some 'donors' with them, hidden away in the hull. Most of these donors don't survive for longer than a month, their bodies found torn to shreds and drained of every last drop of blood, and that's only if starvation, dehydration, or infection don't catch them first.
The Captain of this ship is very superstitious, so if you're a woman you've either got to be a rare exception or able to convincingly disguise yourself as a man.
The Scorpion
The more often spotted Pirate Ship, although The Scorpion isn't any less intimidating! These pirates are known for being much more daring and have thrown caution to the wind on many occasions. The Scorpion's crew consists of mostly humans with a few werebeasts, mermaids, and sirens fulfilling the roles that the Captain trusts them with. The Scorpion is known for targetting almost any and all ships that they come across in their waters, and its crew can often be found drinking themselves into a stupor at Ma Kettles.
Despite the crew seeming friendly to those within Ma Kettles, many ships have been ransacked and destroyed by The Scorpion and her crew, and if you encounter them on the water you should probably give them a wide berth...
El Aguila
Formed originally in Spain, the Navy expanded far and wide and began to take over the seas, defending them from the scourge that is pirates. El Aguila is the Navy's most notorious ship, with most of it's crew being made up of Weres, with a few humans, all of whom have undergone at least 4 years of combat training with guns, cannons, and swords. El Aguila is known for being regimented and orderly, with high standards set for all of its crew. Many would compare it to a well-oiled machine, with lots of guns and weaponry.
While the ship is sailing, Vampires are killed on sight.
Various Merchant Ships
If you wish to be crew of a regular everyday ship, please apply to be crew of a merchant ship. These ships will not have captain roles available and most crew will spend most of their time on land. The sea is a job to them, it isn't their life.
