I'm a Procrastinating Idiot

I'm moving in 2 weeks and I've yet to properly downgrade and pack .-.

I also have to decide whether or not lugging all my manga is worth it. Like I don't read them, I've read them all already.  However, if I ask my parents not to touch them for the next 3 years, I know they aren't going to listen and will try to donate them as they did with books I've bought.

I don't want too much space to be taken up because of them though, as I've accrued quite a bit since I started collecting 11 years ago. And I am already going to be taking books I've yet to read, my Harry Potter collection, and my BTS albums and merch. I can't exactly be like "yo I'm going to take EVERYTHING with me". as my fiance also needs space in the car for his PC, Art tablet, and more.

AND THEN, we may have to make sure there is space for our cat since we have no other way of getting her to us as his parents refuse to touch her and it will cause a problem trying to get her on a flight, she doesn't know my parents and their cats won't like a stranger cat in the house and will freak (besides the spazzy baby boy, Beni), and we don't want to burden our friends with taking her to her appointments for clearance for a flight.

All in all, I am stressed. Of no fault but my own. I should've started packing a month ago like I said I would, or gone through my things better.

Seriously though, after I get my bins to pack my things on Sunday, someone please kick my if you think I haven't done any packing. Thank you.

I also forgot I need to dismantle my desk .-. which will be a nightmare.

perhaps try the marie kando method with your collection and see which series are ~spark joy~ to you. i moved last year and i had to do a similar process with all the art supplies i accumulated over the years lol. another option is shipping your manga to your new place. it might be pricey but if your collection means a lot to you, then it's worth it in the long run.
good luck with packing + moving! take it one box at a time and listen to some good music/podcast to keep yourself entertained c:

If your manga collection is treasured I would try to get a cheaper storage unit for them if you can't keep them at the house until you know for certain you can take it all with you if you're not comfortable donating it. You can always do this with anything you know you wanna keep but aren't sure will actually fit once you both get all of your stuff together and figure out how it'll all get placed throughout your space. If you can Tetris right in a storage unit you don't have to get too big of one either so it'll be much cheaper, especially if the two of you are going to be sharing one for a short time.
