Twisted Wonderland: A Valentine Event ˊˎ-

↳ Backstory: Once upon a time, there was a beautiful city called New Orleans where everyone, human and supernatural alike, lived in perfect “harmony.” As Valentine’s Day approached, there was love in the air as couples pondered what gifts to get each other, and bachelors and bachelorettes considered confessing to their lovers. The flowers shops were overflowing with roses in various shades of pink and red. The bakeries had displays cases full of various cakes and pastries. All was well and everyone was happy – well all but one entity.

The Darkness hated seeing happiness in New Orleans so it had a bit of a trick up its sleeve. It sent an old witch into town. Cafe Du Monde, the most popular bakery and cafe, was bustling as it prepared for one of the biggest days of the year, and seeing this, the witch immediately decided that it would be her target. Channeling the power granted to her by the darkness, she cast a powerful spell over Cafe Du Monde.

As the townspeople came to the cafe for a bite to eat or something to drink, they would find themselves becoming very sleepy. And when they would rest their heads for a nap, they would slip into the world of dreams – into the world of fairytales – as darkness began working hard to break through the magical barrier that’s keeping it out.
