I'll keep this blog post as brief as I can, but we (me and nana/scammer) need an admin for an upcoming AU we've been working on lately. Details on this RP and requirements for admining will be below, but expect this rp to possibly drop anywhere from early to mid-July. Haven't worked out a set deadline yet, but I know it's coming because we want a grim reaper AU and it's nearly done.

Lore for the Roleplay in Question
Sacheon’s Beginnings
Long, long ago lived a king by the name of Soo. This king was well loved and revered for how prosperous his domain was. Residents were well cared for and had everything they could ever need, and because of this, Soo had all the support he could ever need. Unfortunately and over time, neighboring domains grew jealous and decided to pillage King Soo’s domain, leaving no stone left unturned, no home left undisturbed. And after seeing the after effects of his homeland, all Soo wanted was revenge. This in mind, he sought the council of demons and asked them to help his land grow once more, but also for the strength to exact his revenge. In exchange, they asked for his firstborn son’s life. And blinded by his rage, that’s exactly what he gave them.
Shortly after giving over his son’s life, his land did manage to grow once again, but he remained king of it for not much longer. The soul of his son became corrupted during his sacrificial ritual and now haunted the land as well as former king Soo, leading his people to overthrow him and banish him to the forest of unknown territory. This is where he soon made a new home for himself and the remaining loyal members of his family.

In the early days they lived in exile, Soo and his family spent them in reflection of what took place while building their new home. A lot of them began to wonder if revenge would even be worth it now. Not once did former king Soo question it though. He was still tormented by his son’s spirit, and this spirit would tell him he needed to do it. That he needed to do it so that both of them could have their peace. It was necessary to get his land back and necessary to please his son’s spirit and make everything work out. This is when Soo came up with an idea.
Under demonic influence, he’d been no stranger to black magic, so going great lengths to be granted his evil power did nothing to shock him. He knew that if he were to sacrifice 205 more people and collect one bone from each of them, he could have enough power to resurrect his son as a powerful being. So that’s what he did. He killed, and he killed, and he killed until he gathered enough bones and could perform the resurrection ritual. By now he’d made a name for himself as the “Dishonorable King of Death” but it didn’t matter. He was finally able to bring his son back and set things right... It’s too bad that he didn’t know about his son’s corruption.
Immediately after being revived, the son murdered Soo and devoured his corpse to gain his power. With it, he went to the nearby river his father would use to dump bodies and brought back each and every person that was killed by the hands of Soo. This became the start of The Great Necromancer’s legacy, the very beginning of Sacheon, and dawned the birth of the first deadmen—the necromancer’s army.
The Birth of Deadmen
At the revival of the many souls lost in King Soo’s murder spree, the Great Necromancer gained an army of the living dead. Domain upon domain soon met its end with The Great Necromancer and his army ravaging anything and anyone in sight. They claimed the souls of many others and feasted upon their bodies to gain more power and this continued for a century until the myth of a god of death was born.
As per that myth, a spiritually strong human was born into poverty and struggled dealing with the death of their loved ones at the hands of the Necromancer’s army for all their life. Because of this, the gods took pity on them and gave them power over the underworld and spirits, saying to them that they’d have to help souls find their final peace and build an army of their own to stop the Great Necromancer. With their newfound power and knowledge, they set out first thing to gather strength in power and numbers so they can finally put the Great Necromancer and his army to rest.
It was a fierce battle that lasted for another century, but they managed to defeat the Great Necromancer, laying him to rest in the land that started this all. Most of his army, though they acted of their own free will, were given sympathy and tasked with righting their wrongs by joining the death god and helping some of the spirits they claimed finally rest. This birthed the beginning of essences—spirits with the power to resurrect the ones they hurt to help them carry out their last dying wishes. Of course, though, problems arose once again.
An Essence’s Redemption
The death god being young and new to their role, didn’t realize that granting the power of resurrections to other spirits would upset the balance of the world. For every life given, another would be taken. Animals, insects, plants and crops, etc would all start to die off, but the death god was too busy managing the underworld and its spirits to really notice how things were being affected back in the living realm. It wasn’t until the start of the Black Plague (partly a result of this issue) that the newly appointed death god was able to get more of a handle on the rise of deadmen and essences who were unknowingly spreading this pestilence. In order to officially set things straight once and for all, the gods who took pity on their newly appointed death god came up with a solution: First, they decided that every essence was tasked with aiding at least 70 souls before they were granted their own peace and laid to rest. There were still plenty of souls from the Great Necromancers army wandering about, but in the event an essence refused to be put to rest and started to wreak havoc on the living world, they created a contingency plan—reapers.
The Call for Reapers
The Great Necromancer’s army having grown quite large and quite cumbersome over the centuries, there were still quite a number of them wandering the globe and causing problems for the rest of the world. Some spirits wanted to stay and refused to be put to rest, but others were more open to moving on. These spirits were later made into reapers: spirits that hunt deadmen and essences who have gone astray and are causing the world to fall to ruins. Where essences help to right the wrongs of deadmen, reapers would help to set balance in the living world once more. And for every deadman or essence they manage to rid the world of after they’ve done their deeds, they become one step closer to moving on themselves.
