Was walking home from work and saw 2 cats have been abandoned, they were left near a tree with 2 tins of food and a bowl. Whoever abandoned them are cruel af, brought them back to mine and they seem gentle idk?? Just couldn't leave them like that. My heart breaks for them.

idk anything about cats?? They aren't scratching or anything so I'm guessing they were house cats?

What do i do with them?? Help??

I got some random cat food and treats.

ah i did that like, 5 months ago. took in 3 kittens, got cat scratch disease and that spread like wild fire across my body. thought it was ringworm, but that still similar af. be careful about it! don’t play with them too much just yet. make sure they get a bath, use gloves when you interact with them, and take em to a vet asap to check for issues. stray kittens are super cute but they can stress you out a lot, mentally and PHYSICALLY. i learned that the hard way :) oh, and make sure they don’t have worms! you can see that if their tummies are bloated.

i just took in a stray and adopted her! i would highly suggest taking them to the vet and alerting the vet they've been abandoned. i also agree with the litter box idea, the sooner the better! treats for reinforcing where to go to the toilet will also do well.
thank you for showing them compassion, good luck!

make sure they have a litter box or they'll --- from experience --- use your floor. might check them for fleas and if they have them, get some flea treatment if you can (idk about you but it's flea season where i'm at). i'd say just make sure to let them acclimate like narcotic said, make sure they're fed and watered and don't crowd them but let them get used to your presence. some cats really like being around people and some are choosy about time and attention, one of mine has to be in someone's lap or she cries and the other one just wants to be left to her own devices. but for the most part, cats are not too high maintenance so long as they're fed and watered

if ever I can help, I work at a vet clinic and can answer some basic care questions!

I know this isn't something everyone is able to do right off the bat but try and get them to a vet as well (if you're planning on keeping them) but definitely give them some water and pretty much everything narcotic said! I'm glad you were able to get them off the streets ;;

get them water for sure, if you're going to be bringing them home then i'd suggest keeping them in your bathroom so they can acclimate rather than be overwhelmed by the entirely new environment. some cat litter if you're in the position to do so!
