why you should join: rpr has needed a taste of something different for a while now, and if historical fiction is your thing you'll fit right in. there are many talented writers within the rp that are dying to make connections and plots (you may have to dm them first, but i promise they're eager). if you're wanting to expand your writing and character building skills, i highly recommend this rp. i know i have already been inspired by a few of my rp partners to keep developing my character, and even get a second!

my character:

han iseul
twenty-five years old
eldest and only daughter of the han family
iseul is the social butterfly dreamer type, she loves to travel and often showcases what she believes the world outside of korea to look like in her paintings and poetry, a bit of a free spirit because she was spoiled by her parents, and she can be naive to the hardships of those in lower classes because her family treats their staff well so she assumes everyone has the same treatment. ultimately though, her family’s needs will always win out against her own and she cares about upholding their good reputation.

open connections:

1. childhood friend
you have been there since the beginning as your family is close with the han family, nearly attached at the hip with iseul and someone she often confides in when she can't discuss it with her family. 
        - ideally of yangban status, or you could be part of the han family's staff.
        - no preference on gender
        - would ideally be around iseul's age

2. accidental penpal
you receive a letter from iseul one day (contents of said letter can be discussed) although you are not the intended recipient. it is up to you if you decide to reveal your true identity or take up the charade of playing whoever the letter was meant to be sent to.
        - no preference on status

        - no preference on age
